Brother Jim and Sister Deb
Greetings in love, to our sister saints!
Brother Jim was going through his pictures and wanting me to change ours on our dontperish.com website and I thought I'd post it here also. No, we don't like to be the center as our lives are about Christ (John 3:30) but every once in a while it's nice to remind you who we are. Yep, I hate posting my picture on the world wide web, but for the love of the brethren I'll do it...once in a while.
This was taken while we were in Florida last winter, street preaching, and it was a rare 20 minutes of viewing the ocean before we went back into the world:-) (I had to kill my flesh because I could have stood in that cold wind watching the waves beat on the shore, all day long:-) The power of God... it's amazing how He shows it in everything. Water which cannot be grasped as it slips through the fingers, can destroy the world. Fire that cannot be held can burn everything except water, which it would still make it evaporate. Wind which cannot be seen can wipe clean wide swatches of the earth. Let us revere and fear this mighty God who created it all.
To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, [24] And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. [25] See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: [26] Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. [27] And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. [28] Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: [29] For our God is a consuming fire. Hebrews 12:23-29
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Philippians 4:23
Brother Jim just did a teaching on 1 Corinthians 5:5

And he's still enjoying those peaches I found on sale:
I hope your day is joyous tomorrow (or today) and that you strive on. Be ready to give an answer and be bold on the truth. (Go look at the greek word of bold and see that it doesn't mean loud and mean.) You can read an article on the teaching blog about boldness and what it really means.

May God be praised!
