A Day of Witnessing on the Streets

Greetings sisters in Christ!

Praise the Lord for this day and let us be thankful in it.  We were out on the streets flying gospel signs today and I made you a video.

I also wanted to add to the video that this morning, before we went out on the street, I went into the store and ran into one of the members from the cult.  Yes they believe that their church program is what gets you to heaven and that you have to sign a contract to put your allegiance or commitment to the church (not God's word).  That's just a summary of it.  Anyway, the woman I met was biblically dressed with a full headcovering and very long, loose, plain clothing.  She was very kind and very pregnant.  My heart went out to her and for a brief second I saw why women are easily swept away by someone who looks biblical and they are willing to overlook theological differences for unity.  In this vile world of near nakedness, it's rare to see a woman fully cover herself and you can be drawn to that (seeing their heart is not outwardly of a harlot) and satan will try to soften you on the word just so you can be close, regardless of doctrine.  Let's not forget...

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.  (1 Corinthians 1:10)

We've been in contact with women who have covered and dressed themselves biblically but their hearts (when revealed in the end) were far from Him.  A headcovering and dress does not make a woman pure and holy, don't be deceived, test them by their doctrine also.  So, I was joyous to show her that we are kind and loving (I told her we love them all) and said that out of respect for the men, we really shouldn't talk much without them and we parted in kindness.

While we were on the street with our signs, brother Jim said something about a football game and asked a young man riding by on a bike.  He said there was a game so we looked it up and ended going to a town that we were meant to be.  I made you a couple videos while we were there.

It got really ugly later on with many angry people and a bunch of corrupt police.  Out of all the police there was one that was decent and stepped in at the end (since the other ones were not upholding the law) and tried to make peace. He seemed like he might have been a sheep?

You can see a little clip of preaching here...

If you want to see more preaching you can see it HERE.  It's been a (good) long day and God was glorified as the word went out.  We might do some witnessing at the entrance to a busy store tomorrow before we hit the road, we shall see if the Lord wills for us to live to do it:-)

Let us all do the job that the Lord has called us to, doing our work heartily for Him in all things, singing songs and praises in our hearts.  Rejoice!

Love to you all, in the name of our beloved Savior, Jesus Christ.
