It's Simple
Greetings sisters in Christ!
This is just a simple post about how simple it is to be in Christ. Brother Jim was talking to a brother on the phone the other night about some topics of the gospel that build a good foundation on Christ. This brother said:
"It's simple. Read. Obey. Follow."
He's correct, it is simple for those who are born from above. (John 3:3) Hard to do at times but a very simple concept amen?
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent
beguiled Eve through his subtilty,
so your minds should be corrupted from
the simplicity that is in Christ.
2 Corinthians 11:3
I recall the day my mind was made up that I would never set foot in a man made organization ever again (only months after being born again) and went solely into God's Word.
It was so simple... and still is.
At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. [26] Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight. [27] All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. [28] Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. [29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. [30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
