Getting Ready to Go

 Greetings sisters in Christ!

We have arrived at the land and are planning on working some projects for a few days and then hitting the road again, sharing the gospel good news!

Brother Jim is working on making a new place to put our gospel signs on the back of the van. He's pretty crafty when it comes to things like this and can offer much advice to brothers in the area of building and modifications.  While we were there I was halfway leaning on these carts trying to take a break when brother Jim said he could use one to make me a place to lay down and he could wheel me around when I have a bad day:-)

There's a spot under it for the little generator and so I could plug in my heat pad and some storage area for gospel cards and signs...we had a laugh over that:-)  We then had to go to a different town to take care of some business so we stopped at a couple dent and bent grocery stores along the way.

They just built this new building and have an incredible selection of diverse products.  We wanted to stock up on health snacks and were blessed to find incredibly low prices on jerky, healthy chips, dried fruits and nuts and some treats for the little packages we are sending to our grandchildren.

We decided to stay the night at the town we are currently in and then head back to the land tomorrow.  We got some exercise walking around the city park before we settled in for the night to work online.

And were blessed with a beautiful sunset.

The daylight hours are shorter now that winter is approaching and it reminds me to make every minute count.  I'm sure you all remember when you were a child that one hour seemed like all day long but now, one hour seems like a few minutes and you never get done what you planned.  Time, it's something that we can't grasp and it will vanish in heaven as there are no days, weeks nor hours there.  We must be prepared, we must 'be ready to go' meet our Father in heaven and how to do that is to take every minute we have and give it all to Him.  Immerse ourselves in His word, obey it, live it, love it and strive through this world, shining His light of truth to the lost, until He brings us home.

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 2 Peter 3:8

I pray your day tomorrow is joyous in the Lord, be strong and march on sisters.

Love, blessings and peace,

Sister Deb
