Finding a Place of Peace

 Peace to you sisters!

How are you doing today?  We are joyous that the Lord has allowed us to make it back to Florida again for a couple months of street preaching.

On the way we made a video to encourage you all in this fast paced, every changing, busy world.  It's about finding a place of peace in your life, no matter what the circumstances are.

We got stuck in a traffic jam, must have been a wreck on the highway.  They drive like maniacs here cutting in and out....

We saw tons of solar panels in fields.

Then on an exit ramp we saw some of the famous egrets that walk all over the ditches here.  Brother Jim made a video.

As soon as we got here we did a couple things and then went to our parking spot.  Not long after a man came by in a scooter chair and offered us a gospel tract.

He and brother Jim talked for quite a while and I never thought I'd see the day that we met a man that talked about the Lord as much as brother Jim:-)  He had MUCH biblical knowledge but sadly he has some unbiblical things he needs to repent of but seeds were planted and we pray he goes deeper so that his zeal can be rightly placed. It was actually quite edifying and I thanked the Father for starting out this trip with some encouragement!

Not long after, brother Jim had 2 more witnessing opportunities HERE and HERE.

Just as in  the video we made about finding some peace in where we are, all I had to do, while we were taking a walk through the busy parking lot, is look up:-)

The moss growing on the trees is beautiful...but probably not if it's so much that it kills the tree.

And the moon was beautiful.

This life can be very busy and seem like there is no peace anywhere to be found...but our Savior said He can offer that, all we have to do is go to Him.  Often times it's a matter of our focus and what we're looking at that determines what our outlook is.  We may look at our situation and think, how can I get out of this it's driving me crazy or we can look at it and ask the Lord to help us redeem it for Him.  Amen, it's a tough thing to do sometimes but the more we do it the more commonplace it is for us to go to Him first rather than our flesh.

If we can't get away from it all we can 'be still.

Psalm 46:1-11

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.

God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. [6] The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth.

He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.

Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Amen, let us rejoice in His strength.

I leave with flowers for my sisters.

Love in Christ and I pray for peace and unity for all.
