New Audios for Sisters
Good evening sister saints:-)
I pray your day was fruitful both in the Lord and in your daily lives. Let us rejoice in this day the Lord has made as we will never get this one to do over again, but if the Lord wills, we will get one tomorrow to do our best for Him.
Speaking of doing our best for our Awesome Father, brother Jim mentioned a while ago that I should do an audio page for sisters for our dontperish.com website and then link them here in the sisters blog in my posts. So, I put a lot of thought into it because I don't want to be like the one who doesn't count the cost, as warned by our Savior, and wanted to make sure it was something I strive forward in on a regular basis. I've decided that God will give me what I need and am pressing forward in it. Before I do, I would like to say that we don't do any of this ministry for ourselves or out of pride. This is all for the edification of the brethren worldwide, our love offering to you all and to help others who are seeking, see past the wicked deception and lies that satan is spreading by every means. In fact, on the topic of pride, I want to link a couple of teachings that brother Jim did on pride about why we do what we do and hot not to fall into it. This first one about our life of who we were and who we are now...you can listen to it HERE. And the next one expounds even more on pride, HERE. I place those teachings here because we get people (mockers / haters) that constantly accuse us of boasting, doing things out of pride, trying to promote ourselves etc but those are lies. We have given up much in this life to do this for the brethren and the lost and as brother Jim tells people....we have nothing to gain from it all. He could be out fishing and hunting all the time and I could be in a garden or sitting on my porch watching the deer and birds. It's done all out of love.
My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. 1 John 3:18
The audio page for sisters is HERE but I will be posting each audio in a post here on the sisters blog. The first one is the gospel HERE and the next one is a message on why I'm doing the audios HERE. (Cuz I love my sisters:-)
Also...I've put a lot of thought into this as well. We used to post videos on the blogs but blogger is putting and end to that because they hardly play and we're not sure why. So, I will be putting them on my facebook page. We never did any friending or following on facebook we just used it as a bulletin board (under brother Jim's name and our ministry) and mine was used for our business. I've since then cleaned up (the best I can) any remnants from our carving business that we no longer do and am now using it to post links to our teachings and any videos we make to shine a light in a dark place. We decided to go back to posting on there because we have had many people asking about it and it seems that's the first place people go to look someone up. We don't get anyone's news feeds, don't allow comments (the dontperish site cannot disable comments but we keep the moderated from the public) and spend no time on there except to slap up a post or video and I'm done. If you're already on it and are interested, you can follow along. I will say this, today we're using it but if it gets to the point of them putting things on there that we cannot control, I'm done. For now though that's the plan. You can find me HERE.
EDITED TO ADD: Since this post we have created a video page that we can link to our blogs so we will be posting videos HERE of which we will be putting links to them in our corresponding posts on the blogs:-)
I asked brother Jim if maybe we could take the day off tomorrow and just stay in one spot for the day, working on ministry and having some rest time and he said yes. Yay:-)
That's about all I have for today sisters except this...
A faithful sister posted this picture (thank you!) it's absolutely precious:-)
It comforts me to think of our Savior being our protector though this life.
2 Thessalonians 2:1-17
Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, [2] That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. [3] Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; [4] Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. [5] Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? [6] And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. [7] For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. [8] And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: [9] Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, [10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. [11] And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: [12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. [13] But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: [14] Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. [15] Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. [16] Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, [17] Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.
No matter what trials come our way, He is our Savior, He has overcome it all and we just need to follow after Him. Keep pressing on sisters, doing the work the Lord has called us to and don't grow weary in doing good.
Love to you all, in the name of our beloved Savior, Jesus Christ, King of Kings and Lord of Lords!
