One Day At a Time (Audio) and Turning Our Camper Van Into a Gospel Van (video)
Good day to our faithful sister saints!
I made an audio about taking one day at a time and you can find it HERE. I hope it blesses and encourages you:-)
I'm also excited to say that I made a video page on our website so that means I can link you directly to a video instead of either not being able to (because blogger doesn't play them) or if people are not on facebook or have a desire to follow there (as I posted about that the other day. To be honest, we're not fans of Facebook but we use what we can use to get the word out and share encouragement with the brethren. It would be like saying "I don't like driving through that town because it's dangerous but I'll do it to get to the other side so I can encourage my sister." In saying that, brother Jim and I made a video this morning to share with you:-) You can find it HERE. (It will take you to our ministry page where you can watch it.)
We have decided a direction to go for the winter as it was a toss up of west and into the desert or east toward the coast and Florida. East seems to be the way we are going for now anyway so we took off and began our journey, we'll see what happens. We have a few ideas in mind where we may go, if the Lord wills.
We're assuming those are housing chickens as we've seen a lot of trucks transporting them. Lots of cows here too, we like that, coming from farm country ourselves.
Since I'm the navigator, I have a bit of enjoyment with my little van, too bad it wasn't white with a bunch of gospel signs all over it:-)
It's interesting as we travel and see the Father's creation and how diverse everything is. Some places have crystal clear rivers, some are red from clay, the ones down here in Texas are muddy looking and soon we'll be heading through Arkansas and maybe a tip of Louisiana where they have bayous that seem rather ominous. Not sure we'll see any along the way but I wouldn't mind if we did.
I'm working on this post for you sisters and brother Jim is doing some things on the van. I think he said something about putting some sort of step back there so he can hop up on it instead of getting the ladder down all the time. He just does his work right in the parking lot of the store so that if he needs more materials he can just walk in, or send me. He finished his project before I got my post done because I had to stop and finish up later so here are the pictures.
He put a step on both sides of the bumper so he could easily get up to the top of the van where he stores things. He was perching on the bumper and almost fell so he figured this was a good thing to do...I think so too:-)
I'm glad we didn't deck out the van right away in the beginning like we thought because it allowed us to make changes as we go along.
Before we got here, we were in the parking lot of a grocery store and this poor guy had a bad flat tire. Brother Jim was going to offer to help him change it but he must not have had a spare because we didn't see him do anything with it. At the grocery store I got some awesome deals, praise God, we're thankful. I've shared how I use online coupons, cash back apps and survey credit, well, this is what I got for $3.17
I'm rejoicing as the wicked part of our sickness is past (I hope:-) and now the lingering after effects will do their work until it finishes it's course. I actually got out of the house today haha, that's funny when you live in a van :-) I haven't been walking or around any people the past few days so today it was good to get out and move a bit.
Praise God for each day, take one at a time and proclaim the gospel in your life, to the world.
Here's a teaching from brother Jim about oneness theology refuted....HERE.
Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me?
Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.
And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.
And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.
At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.
Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.
Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?
Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
