Sink Holes and Sin

Blessings and peace to all my obedient sisters in Christ!

We found a park just across from our parking spot and decided to take a walk there and then work online in the shade, under the trees.

I made a video to share some of the beauty we saw and although it's somewhat blurry by the time it gets compressed enough to get into blogger, you can still see.  We went down this walkway...

And saw this...

Apparently it's a sink hole, which is pretty common here in this state that sticks out into the ocean like an upside down thumb.  It made me think about us sisters and how, if we hide any little sins and try to cover them up, they will be there to fall right back in.  We must forsake all sins, not hide them,  that means put them away and not turn back to them.  We know of people who had a pile of things to forsake and instead of disposing of them or burning them like we see in Acts.

They held on to them, making excuses and procrastinated and it wasn't long when they came upon something in the Word that they didn't want to obey, they turned back and had it all waiting for them.  This can also pertain to fleshly sins that we don't put much effort in to kill.  Such as some people will say, "I know I shouldn't say this but..." then go on to say it.  If you shouldn't say it, then don't.  Another area is someone might say they have a 'weakness' in an area but don't do anything to repent and correct it, instead it's almost like a badge of honor to claim the weakness and then exploit it by sharing it with others.  For women, submission and quietness could be a problem that they know they need to work on, they feel it in their conscience when they are about to overstep the bounds but they don't focus on it to kill it.  Okay, what about your conscience when it nags at you about spending too much time looking on the internet at the news, recipes, simple things that you ought not to be really spending your time on because it's not necessary for the kingdom of God.  (That's how I look at it anyway, if it's not going to grow me in Christ, why would I spend my time on it?) And, how about this one... "I know I'm not living the way I should but because of (husband, children, friends, family etc) I sort of compromise to make everyone happy."  That's called sin per James

Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

James 4:17

Covering up so called 'small' things in your life will lead to sinkholes all over and end up being a big mess and a disaster for your soul.  No sisters, God does not forgive unrepentant sins that you know about and are not actively killing.  You will burn in hellfire for all of eternity where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. ALL SIN is a SERIOUS issue that must be repented of before we are allowed to enter the kingdom of God in the end.  Those sink holes in your life will send you right down into hell if you don't repent.

Go read the account about the 10 virgins, then read it again and let it sink in.  They were right there waiting for the bridegroom next to the other virgins.  Sadly they were not prepared and "the door was shut."  They cried to get in but what were they told?

But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.  Matthew 25:12

What terrifying words!

I KNOW YOU NOT.

The only way you will enter into the kingdom of God is through the good news, the gospel. I encourage you to examine yourself and see if you claim to be born again, was it through the gospel or was it through some other means?  (Read John 10 where Jesus warns about coming in some other way)  Examples of other ways would be 'accepting Jesus' (unbiblical), 'giving your life to Him' but not seeing any changes in your life to prove the Holy Spirit is in you, which is what we see come from youth camps, mystical experiences (burning, feelings, strange happenings) etc,  You must have come by faith in Christ in who He was and what He has done, and then repent, which means turning of your mind to God and forsaking all your sins.  Then you are born again which is when God gives you the Holy Spirit.  When the Spirit enters you, you are not the same person you were before because you become hungry for the truth and from that point on begin to test all things in your life against the Word and eliminate all that doesn't line up. We aggressively hunt down sins, examining ourselves daily to see if there are more we don't know about and ask Him to reveal them to us.  We then continue to press on in true faith and obedience until the end.

If you are the person who has a bunch of sink holes (sin) and think God's grace, mercy and love will cover them all, you are in danger of hellfire and you trample the blood of Christ.  Uncover them and clean them out for the glory of God and for your own eternal fate.

2 Thessalonians 1:7-10 KJVS

And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

I don't want you being one who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power.

So you see, these so called 'little things' that people get irritated over and think are no big deal (headcovering, dress, submission, adornment/makeup, separation etc) will damn you in our disobedience to them.  I love you so I tell you the truth.  And to be brutally honest with you, I will not associate with a sister who refuses to repent and forsake her sins then become a biblical woman in all ways of obedience.  We will most certainly work with and encourage anyone who is striving to overcome sins but not those who willingly sit in them.

Galatians 4:16

Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

I pray that you all are truly on the biblical path and we are here to encourage you!

The Lord is mercy and grace, peace and love but let us not abuse that.

Give God glory for His amazing creation that grows upward.

And things that crawl on the ground.

Brother Jim answered a question from a saint, on the blog, you can see it HERE.

We love you all and pray you strive on.

Peace and blessings to you.
