Walking Among Sheep and Goats

Greetings to all our obedient sister saints!

Peace and joy to you, I pray your day went well, or is going to be if you are not finished with yours yet.  We are joyous to have had a great day of witnessing in Pinecraft here in Florida, and the Amish this year (we were here a few times last year also) were just as spiritually dead BUT, there were sheep! I'm going to share with you the experience so you can see the dichotomy of sheep and goats.  Pharisee and the publican.

We started off by pulling into the park area (public park for all to park and partake of)  where the anabaptist normally gather in the afternoon to play games.  Not long after we parked, two men (not anabaptist)  rode up on bikes and one began asking brother Jim some questions of which he witnessed the gospel and shared about man made religion.  The younger man with him seemed to be of a unique character and when brother Jim asked if the Amish witness to them, this young man said "NO they don't."  Brother Jim asked if that is loving your neighbor by not preaching the gospel and allowing them to go to hell and the young man said "NO they don't love us."  They listened for quite some time and then when brother Jim was done and asked if they had any questions, the older of the two wanted brother Jim to preach right there.  It was interesting as they were there to play basketball yet were very attentive to the gospel.

After that we walked several blocks to an area we know they congregate and travel through (normally there are a lot more at this time but there were still plenty enough around)  and held our signs while brother Jim preached the gospel and called them out of their sins.  One evangelical man was very nice and thanked us. One big man (not anabaptist) walked over, got in Jim's face and called him a vulgar body part a few times. Almost all the anabaptists that passed by us, ignored the Word of God. Oh and they called the police on us again...like they did last year.

You can see some videos HERE

We have been around Amish and Mennonites for many years in Wisconsin as well as being in a hugely populated area of them in Missouri so we know their ways very well.  (Even better than many of them!)  These are a people claiming to have the truth of God yet are living by man made traditions that Mark 7 says will void their worship as it's in vain.

Mark 7:6-9

He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. [7] Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. [8] For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. [9] And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

They REJECT the commandments of God and keep their own traditions.  There is not the love of God in almost all of them (just like the worldly churches) and I'll prove it!

You want to see the lack of love in them?  Watch these videos HERE.

The word of God is being preached and they continue playing their games, ignoring the truth of God's Word.   No, this is not an isolated incident, this happened last year with even more of them milling around on the streets, at the park, and it has happened many times when we stood outside their religious anabaptist buildings over the past several years.

After all that, we were putting our things in the van and I was making some coffee when the older basketball man (that talked to brother Jim when we first arrived) wanted to buy us some food.

He wanted to make sure we had dinner.

When I heard that, I looked over his shoulder, back at the pharisees that claim the name of Christ, who called the police on us, who rejected the word of God that they claim to live by, yet this worldly man wanted to bless us with food.  (Brother Jim thanked him greatly and assured him that we are well fed and the Lord takes care of us.)

Then this man sat down and stretched out on the grass, and another young man that he was playing ball with, sat down also...to hear about God's Word.   (Later another man came over to hear.)

While the water was heating, I looked out the van door to see this contrast picture.

Those claiming Christ, rejecting the word of God

to play games...

Those of the world putting down their games

to hear the Word of God.

I will add that there were 2 men from the anabaptist group that stopped by later to talk to brother Jim, claiming they left the anabaptists but still hang around them.  Brother Jim shared all God's warnings on false associations and gave them a lot of truth.  Oh and one of the young men sitting with brother Jim said he was ex amish and sees through their hypocrisy which led to a good discussion between them.

I had a great and mighty struggle in my flesh today of which I cannot put in words, but I was victorious, all by the strength of the Lord.

1 Chronicles 29:11-13

Thine, O Lord, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine ; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all. [12] Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. [13] Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.

God was glorified on this day.

Amen.

Love in Christ,

Sister Deb
