Feminism Flip Flop

Good afternoon to my obedient sisters in Christ!

Praises my sisters who have forsaken feminism and are striving to be that holy woman of God that we see in scripture. One who is not fearing the loss of her beauty or these earthly things but one who fears the Lord.

Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. (Proverbs 31:30)

Brother Jim sent me this picture to use here.

It's a picture of a pastor that brother Jim reached out to and tried to help correct his unbiblical ways but the pastor wants nothing to do with the truth.  Anyway, he said to post it here and ask if you can see something.  Keep in mind it's a spiritual issue.

Feminism has flip flopped what God's Word says in many ways.

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (Isaiah 5:20)

See that his head is covered and hers isn't?

For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. (1 Corinthians 11:6)

Yes, I've talked about all these topics in the past posts but we can never tire of being reminded of our roles and characteristics that we should strive for, amen?!  This is just a basic recap on the main ones we see feminist women doing the opposite of God's Word.

* Women pastors: God's Word teaches that women are not to be teachers and usurp the authority of man yet women strive hard to do so.

But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve.  And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. (1 Timothy 2:12-14)

* Domestic dads: That's where the husband stays home and does the housework and or watches the children while the woman works.

That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, [5] To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. (Titus 2:4-5)

* Career chasers: They invest most of their time and energy furthering their career, seeking after bigger paychecks and a longer title, instead of seeking to further the kingdom of God within their lives and homes.  There's nothing wrong with a woman working under the right circumstances but not chasing fame and fortune.

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. (Matthew 6:24)

* Birth control: Not wanting children to mar her body or hinder her pleasures or her goals.

I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully. (1 Timothy 5:14)

* Independent: She wants to run her own life.

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. (Ephesians 5:22)

* Shameless: Being bold and assertive with men.

In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array (1 Timothy 2:9)

But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands: Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement. (1 Peter 3:4-6)

* Lascivious: Dressing in a wanton, harlot like manner.  That also means even the subtle look of showing off just a little here and there.

Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:  Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. (Ephesians 4:18-19)

And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart.(Proverbs 7:10)

* Loud: Speaking a lot, always having much to say.

She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house (Proverbs 7:11)

But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. (1 Peter 3:4)

* Adorned: Wearing make up, jewelry, pretty clothes etc. to accent herself.

Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel (1 Peter 3:3)

* Selfish: Looks after her own well being first instead of serving those in her life.

Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. [5] Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus (Philippians 2:3-5)

Seriously sisters, it's real easy to read through a post like this and skim it thinking, "Yep, that's right, that's what the Word says" but are we seeking within ourselves to root out anything that might be lurking there?  It starts with a little seed of something like discontent or being unthankful and it doesn't take much for it to start taking root and then grow into something that becomes out of control.  Yes, that can happen to us all.  Let's all examine ourselves as instructed in 2 Corinthians 13:5 to see that we are in the faith lest we be reprobates.  The best place to start is the GOSPEL.

Brother Jim just did a teaching called Fasting Explained, you can find it HERE.

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; (Hebrews 12:14-15)

Strive on sister saints and we are here to encourage you!

Love in Christ,

Sister Deb

Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. (2 Corinthians 13:11)
