A Day In The Life (June 22,2021)

 Good evening sister saints!

(Flowers from a saint:-)

Praise God we headed toward a place that we thought might be fruitful for witnessing...

...it was and the Word went out on the streets today!

Some gospel cards were handed out, some mockers were told the truth of God and maybe there was a sheep that saw some light. You can see the videos HERE if you want and hear the Word being preached.

It's all about being a light for our Savior who died for us.  Sharing the life giving gospel with anyone who might have ears to hear.

Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. [16] But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them ; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.  Matthew 13:9-17

(From a sister saint:-)

And now let's hear the parable of the sower, which is what we all are doing in our lives as godly saints, amen?

Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.

When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;

Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it ; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.  Matthew 13:18-23

No, we cannot work our way to heaven but bringing forth good fruit is the evidence of our faith in Christ and our love for Him.

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;  Colossians 1:10

The other day brother Jim witnessed to a man at the gas station, who walked up to him to ask about the gospel signs on the van.  As brother Jim was sharing the gospel with him and encouraging him to reject man made religion and get into God's Word, he told the man that we used to be the worst of sinners and listed some of the sins.  The man was shocked and looked at me and said 'YOU TOO?'

I found that pretty interesting that a man that doesn't claim to know or be of Christ (but is seeking) that he would see the purity and chasteness of God's people but yet the worldly church looks at it as 'self righteousness' instead of good works of obedience.  The world sees clearer than the religious hypocrites.

He also said that he noticed (as he was studying and looking into the bible) that the newer translations are getting more and more selfish.  (Meaning they are twisting the word to suit themselves.)

One other thing he said that was rather profound right before he thanked us and left...

"Don't get murdered out there."

I found that profound because the people most likely to murder us are not the tatooed bikers (they hug brother Jim) or the homeless (they hug him too) or the harlot looking drugged up woman with the flat tire (she hugged me) or the older lady who struggles in her speech (she hugged me) or the average person walking down the street not claiming anything of faith (they thank us and we get hand shakes and hugs)....it's the religious people who will be likely to murder us (just as we see in scriptures) and it's been proven by brother Jim getting beat on by people in a church and I was just remembering how a man driving by in a truck threw an object at me a while back. (We don't list everything people do.)

The world who is not claiming Christ doesn't seem to be as blinded as the religious people....but we know that to be true not only because we see it out here but because God said so...

And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:

Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.  The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.  Luke 18:9-14

Brother Jim did an audio about Tender Love or Tough Love, you can find that HERE.  You can understand why there needs to be sternness and tenderheartedness and learn the difference between the two.

Praise God for His precious word!

We've decided where to go tomorrow, Lord willing, we shall see what will become of it all then.  We headed out of town after witnessing and I brought you with for a bit of it...

We're joyful to be parked for the night with a bit of privacy...

Of course in the van life I still have Titus 2 duties so I'll share one of them:-)

We are thankful for a simple treat like that and I'm thankful that brother Jim remembers to do the videos because I get busy and forget. :-)

Oh and I thought you might like to see this multi colored bridge...

They sell outdoor furniture made from colored plastic and I saw it while taking a little morning walk.

It's been a long but joyous day and it won't be long until it's over...

You might want to check out brother Jim's update HERE because there are some interesting videos on it:-)

Praise God for another day to serve Him and stand for His truth.

Love to you all,

Sister Deb
