A Day In The Life (June 11, 2021)

Blessings to our obedient sisters who love the Lord!

We have another day to serve our God, the Master of the universe!  I hope we all serve Him in holiness and obedience.

I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.  For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.  What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Romans 6:19-23

I have a few random videos I took in the past few days and thought I'd share with you.  The first one is of some construction going on and they had to work on the land first.

If only mankind would put forth that effort for the kingdom of God!

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.  Matthew 6:33

The other night we had our door open and these trucks kept swinging in right by us to loop around and stage themselves to swap trailers. I caught one of them...

Brother Jim often has opportunities to witness to truckers because he thanks them for their hard work and gives them the GOSPEL. Praise God!

We toss our change (we find a lot in parking lots too lol :-) in a big can and about every 6 months we cash it in.  I'll tell you after the video how much it was.

Turns out it was $43.86.  That will buy many miles of gas to share the gospel.

The next is a beetle brother Jim found.  Another of God's amazing creations and awesome to see.  (Not so good when they get in your van or house though lol.)

And a video of a storm coming in.

The power of God...

O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God. Psalm 68:35

And a video that brother Jim made last night before the storm. We were so thankful because it cooled the night off.  Today the heat is back up high but I always say the heat we deal with here on earth is nothing compared to hell... that true saints will not suffer in if they persevere until the end.

Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.  Luke 13:24

And at 1:00 am the trucks were still coming and going...

Brother Jim made a video this morning about getting water after I finished washing some clothes.

I talk about water a lot because it's an every day part of our life. Drinking to hydrate our body, washing ourselves or clothes and dishes, growing plants for food, watering farm animals, cooling off etc.

It's so essential to life it's no wonder Jesus uses it to reference the spiritual aspect also.

Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.  The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.  John 4:10-14

He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.  John 7:38

I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. 1 Corinthians 3:6

That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, Ephesians 5:26

And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. Revelation 22:1

Water of life....I love that, crystal clear, like God's
Word is to those who are His.  Here's brother Jim putting God's word on the van for all to see.

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.  Matthew 5:14

Thank you sister for the picture gift to share.

Ok...just another day in the life of two saints following after our Savior.

Brother Jim had a new teaching HERE about not muzzling the ox and HERE with a covid update.

We took you for a drive to see our Father's creation as we traveled to our destination. The end of the video shows the downtown of the place we will be witnessing tomorrow Lord willing.

We followers of Christ are shining lights in a dark world.  Just as I told a sister yesterday, even if we were sick in bed that our minds, hearts and thoughts are set on Christ and we are separate from the world which brings honor and glory to our Father. Remember that even our simple life lived is a big deal as it's one soul not in the grips of satan...that is honoring our King!

Love, peace and joy.
