Evening Encouragement

 Good evening sisters!

Brother Jim said we needed to take a picture and share with the brethren so you can see we are real people lol :-)

A Psalm reading for you.

Brother Jim took a little walk and then took this picture of me reading scriptures to you while sitting in the door of my 'tent' :-)

I get that from Abraham...

And the Lord appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day Genesis 18:1

Go read that whole chapter of Genesis 18, it's one of my favorites. I love how he very carefully asks to spare any righteous who might be in the cities.  It also proves just how very narrow the way is and how few will find it. Let that be a reminder to us and let it encourage us to be diligent to do good works as a glory unto our father who shed the blood of His son to redeem us from our iniquities.

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. Titus 2:13-14

Praise God for all He has done!

This is a short post but not short on love :-)

We traveled today and went through a storm, but the sun was shining on the other side :-) Let that be another lesson for us hold fast while we weather the storms in our life as they will pass. Okay it looks like the videos are uploading here now :-).

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:  Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.  1 Peter 5:8-10

Well I didn't get any face-to-face witnessing with anyone today but I did put a GOSPEL card up at a pavilion in a wayside along the highway. Who knows maybe a weary traveler will take it and maybe it will end up in the hands of the one who needs it.

Thank you sister for the picture.  It's hard to imagine not needing the sun but God will be our light!

As I was working on this blog post, and brother Jim was going on his walk he made an awesome video!  He's going to post it on his update but I had to have it here for you too!

All right sisters I got to go for now but Lord willing we can meet back here again tomorrow. Let us all go rejoice in the Lord today.

Love to you all,

Sister Deb

How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
