Witnessing to a Woman on the Street and Sharing God's Creation

 Good evening sister saints!

Praise God for this day and I hope yours went (or is going) well.  I mentioned about occasionally posting some witnessing audios so I thought I'd post one (from a while ago), if you are interested.  I don't normally record them but this one was while I had my body cam on in the streets (clearly visible to all who walk up to us).  (Body cameras are great for our witness as it proves all our actions and words if someone falsely accuses us, like they often do.)  Anyway, I told brother Jim I felt funny doing this but he said that it would be a good thing for other sisters to hear a sister witnessing.  Then we received comments from other women who echoed the same thoughts so if you are interested you can find one HERE.

Praise God for the opportunities to share the life giving truth and defend His word.  There are many things I want to learn as I do this, and I'm thankful God has been giving me more opportunities. In fact just tonight I witnessed to 3 women in a car which was a surprise because I was in the middle of doing something when they pulled up and brother Jim called me out.  Afterwards I examined the conversation and learned how I want to say things a little differently.   Some women will talk like that woman did (on the audio link) which was good but also brother Jim is teaching me to steer the conversation more (which I did pretty good but will work on a few areas.)

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.  James 1:5-8

But every situation is different and as we sisters have the opportunities to share the truth, we will learn and grow from them, just like anything else, experience and maturity go a long way.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  2 Timothy 2:15

I have another example of a different sort of witnessing.

You'll notice a skip in the audio because I had to edit out her profanity :-(  Yep, that's the fruit we see coming from man made religion and one of the reasons why we are out here doing what we do.

Most often we only get a couple minutes (or even seconds) so it all depends on the situation, how willing they are to talk, if they are receptive or if they shut down etc.

Anyway, I'm not sure if it'll help anyone but I'll post some here and there if I get the opportunity to do so.  Be ready sisters and God will use you....in His timing.

Today was a busy day of witnessing, praise God. While we were in a busy park, a young man stopped to talk about the gospel signs.  Then another.  We found out they were with a group of young adults from a church group that we saw walking through the area. (In fact the 3 young women I witnessed to were with that group -we found out later.) Not long after we ended up with a large group of them (mostly young men) standing around us and at one point it seemed as if there might be a problem as they became antagonistic and blatantly sinful.  But our Father is greater than all and His word will be proclaimed...it cannot be stopped. It makes me think of this:

And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought: [39] But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God. Acts 5:38-39

Brother Jim did an audio teaching on Bad Company Corrupts HERE which is what we saw happening today with that group of young people.

Once again I ask, where did the day go?  We did a lot of witnessing and travel but still, it always seems like there should be more... but let us be joyous and thankful for what we can do, when we can do it.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:6-7

I'll toss in a Titus 2 duty....

And another one.

And maybe you want to see some of God's creation as we traveled.

We stopped at a produce stand on our way...

There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.  Psalm 46:4

And a wayside that had a spring...

So I washed some clothes and brother Jim refilled our water.

And some falls that we were driving by so we stopped along our way.

How amazing...

Lake Superior is where we are now...what an awesome earth our Father created.
Breath taking beauty that man cannot replicate.
We are not worthy to partake of it all.

Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.  Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance.  Psalm 89:14-15

In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted. For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.  Psalm 89:16-17

Brother Jim did an update HERE.

We were blessed to have a parking spot by a little swamp that had a lot of singing frogs....let us rejoice in the creation of our Father.

Okay sisters, it's been another super long day but very fruitful, let's see what tomorrow brings, if the Lord gives it to us.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

For by it the elders obtained a good report.

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

But without faith it is impossible to please him : for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.  Hebrews 11:1-6

Love to you all and I pray you stand fast on His Word and Truth.
