🥀☀️Good afternoon sisters!☀️🥀
This is the Lord's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
This is the day which the Lord hath made;
we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalm 118:23-24
I had a mission to do today and I took you all with me:-)
And since we had time before we went out I thought we could read Psalm 24.
🏵️🏵️🏵️🏵️🏵️
I've been extra rejoicing today because it started out by sharing the GOSPEL and much of God's Word with someone from about midnight until about 2:00 am.🕑 Praise God! And now we are close to going on the street to share more!
Just a note to you sisters....this person that I was sharing the truth of God with, hated me about 5-6 years ago. I won't go into all the details of it but just wanted you to know that your light 🕯️ can be a great witness but you must be consistent in it because, trust me, people are watching. You may not see the works going on inside people so don't give up.
I just shared this with a sister...
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. [58] Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:57-58
Our labor, sisters, is a glory to the Lord so it's never in vain (unless our heart is not right) so even if you don't see results in the people around you from shining your light, don't grow weary.
Thank you sister for the scripture pictures:-)
So in scoping out the situation as the title says, that's what I did this morning here at the festival and now I'm working on this blog post as we wait for the crowds to grow a bit.
We can do such things (scoping out a festival for preaching) and make a good judgement but we have to be careful when scoping out the situation of others in our lives. They may continue going about their life outside of Christ and you may be disheartened by it all but you don't know that in an instant someone's life could change.
📣!Mine did!📣
God has you working right where He wants you to be, His workers as lights scattered all over the world and after our work is done, we shall all be together with the Father. We don't get our reward now, we get it if we endure until the end. Good things to ponder on a regular basis so we don't grow weary, amen?
A sister sent this to me this morning so I share it with you also.
I have to go for now but will pop back on here later to share anything more that might be of encouragement to you all.
Feel free to check out brother Jim's update HERE with lots of interesting things that went on yesterday.
And if you are interested there are a few videos HERE of the street preaching that went on today. Many gospel cards were given out, praise God.
Much love to you all, in Christ Jesus our Savior,
Sister Deb
