Sowing Seeds
Good afternoon sisters!
I thought it might be good for us to refresh ourselves with the parable of the seed sower.
And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?
The sower soweth the word.
And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.
And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.
And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,
And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.
And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.
Mark 4:13-20
Amen.
We've seen all that happen with people we've shared truth and I'm sure you may have seen it in your life also. But rejoice as we don't know who will hear and receive it so we just continue on in our good works as unto the Lord.
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Colossians 3:17
Seeds can be sown by our godly witness, sisters, so always watch ourselves to make sure we are blameless.
Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;
That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge;
Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:
So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

We have arrived at the town we planned and Lord willing, will be sowing seeds at a music event tomorrow, then in the same area are some big tourist spots where we hope to sow them there also. Let's first see if we get tomorrow but until then...
I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. John 9:4

While I was working on this post, a trucker came in and squeezed behind us...

Brother Jim offered to move forward but he said he was good. A lot of stores don't want those trucks in their lot because they take up a lot of room but I feel bad for them because they drive a lot of hours and have to find a way to get their supplies. The truck stops are really expensive so it's nice when we see a store that welcomes them. Brother Jim thanks them for their hard work and gets to witness to them.
That picture is evidence of a trucker in a parking lot that the store did not want them in. They put big rocks up on curbs so they can't maneuver over them but someone didn't care.

Speaking of good deals..
I found 5 boxes of these shower /body wipes discounted from over $9 each, to $2.49 and I had $2 coupons so I got them for .49 cents per box. They are awesome in van life for freshening up in the middle of a hot day.
Last night we took a nice long walk after traveling a long way.
It's all relative to where you focus...a bit of peace on one side and busy-ness on the other. Same as in our life...focusing on Christ and His peace or on the world and it's stress and lust of the flesh.
