The Time Of Your Sojourning

 Good evening sister saints!

It's been a super busy day for us, how was (or is) your day going?

I'm thankful I was able to share the gospel with someone today and Lord willing maybe again tomorrow.  We traveled a lot today and the decision was made to try to reach a destination out west before the weekend so we'll have some busy work and driving days ahead.  That means my posts here may be short (like tonight) but not short on love sisters:-)

We are all on a journey through this life, serving Christ.

And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:  1 Peter 1:17

Look up the greek word of sojourning:

Praise God He has given us all things in order for us to press on and endure through the time of our sojourning here...in this foreign land that we are not citizens of, amen sisters?

For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:  Philippians 3:20

But now we are citizens of what?

Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;  Ephesians 2:19

With the saints and of the household of God!!!!!  But, that is only for those who are truly born again and striving in all holiness and obedience, test yourself at the GOSPEL.

For us, in our traveling life, we are truly foreigners in the native land we were born and where we were called from God.  We know this land and the customs of it but we no longer fit in, praise God!  We now fit in with the household of God...but we are on the road sharing the truth and lighting the way for those behind us.  You too sisters, being strangers in this world, are a shining light of the household of God. Don't grow weary in doing well and I just read this to a sister today and emphasized it...

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:58

(Thank you sister for the pictures:-)

I have to go as I have things to catch up on from the day and to get ready for the next trek down the road. Speaking of which, here are some glimpses into our travels today...

A sister shared these and I think I'll do more audios focusing on such joyous words...

Love to our sister saints!  Hold fast and may the Lord watch over you.
(I don't recall if I shared brother Jim's update from yesterday...you can find it HERE.)
