A Day In the Life (August 29, 2021)

Greetings in love, to my sisters in Christ!

I pray that you are all doing well, standing strong in Him.  A sister shared the portion from Nehemiah 8:10 where it says the 'joy of the Lord is my strength'.  Amen, praise the Lord, He can lift us up with His strength!

A sister sent this beautiful scripture picture... we are to wait upon the Lord as He has offered us the greatest hope through the GOSPEL.

Another sister, who is learning to discern through the lies that abound, is sorting her books and CD's seeing that they do not line up with the word and it's truth so she's repenting of them.

And some messages that were going back and forth around the world when a few of us were blessed to hook up on a messenger platform and converse at the same time. Sharing of the Word, trials, experiences, rejoicing, encouragement, Titus 2 duties and Acts 2 sharing of meals.

Saints of God are doing their good works unto the Lord all over the earth.

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

2 Timothy 4:2-5

Saints taking seriously the ministry that the Lord has given them and diligently doing what He has for them, in their lives, sharing the gospel and affecting those around them in the way His word will have it.  Praise God let us continue to press on.

We took a bit of time to catch up on some ministry and testings of which will hopefully expose to the person wondering (if their body is biblical) and cause them to see the truth.  And hopefully save a sheep from walking into the wolf pen.  I love hearing the sisters talk about 'seeing' through the deception and it's quite easy to do so if you are in the word.  Most run off feelings and emotions because they are tied to such systems in their flesh, because they are linked with the people.  Most don't want to lose their life...

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.  Matthew 16:25-27

We will be rewarded according to our works and part of that is forsaking all to follow after Christ. Brother Jim encouraged a young man seeing truth to dig into the scriptures to see that his religious body is sinful.  He then encouraged him to drop his nets and follow Christ as the zealousness for truth was rising in him, but he kept hanging around and listening to those who teach falsely and love their sins....thereby seemingly pulling him back into what he should have left.

We see death all the time ministry.  Spiritual death of those who spring to life and then we see the parable of the sower come to life before our eyes.  It takes a lot of flesh killing to keep pressing on and not assume the next person who comes along, claiming Christ, will turn back.  But the Lord is gracious and merciful and gives all us saints just what we need, when we need it.

Let us be thankful and content in the life He has given us because the life that awaits us, if we endure, is far better than this one.

For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.

For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:

Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.

Philippians 1:21-24

Yesterday on our (short) travel we stopped at a dent bent discount store and brother Jim reminded me to make a Titus 2 video for you:-)

And I share a plate of food from the food we bought there.

Have some ice cream with us, a rare treat:-)

Yesterday we were in a park working on line and and my plan was to wash clothes because they had a water spigot.  We also had many other things we wanted to get done and it's been really hot and humid so I said to brother Jim that maybe I would just toss them through the washer at a laundry and hang them to dry.  I love to hand wash clothes but it can be trying in the off grid van life when it's been hot both day and night and you don't get to stop sweating until fall comes. Lol.  It's all good but sometimes we pick our battles and so that's what I did:-)

I saw this in the laundry and thought you would appreciate it.

They dried pretty well in the van as we drove down the road to the next town.

We knew our destination had a park in it that we could work online in the shade so we did and stayed until dark.

While we were there, people were coming up to talk about the things of God and praise the Lord, the word was going out! You can listen to one HERE and HERE. The park has a water fountain so I filled up a few gallons, thankful to the Lord for providing.

I saw this in the store and thought my Titus2 sisters might appreciate it...

Beautiful creation of God.  He didn't make just one kind, he made many!  We sisters are rich in blessings form the Father in eternal life because of what Christ has done, and He also gives us what we need to serve Him in this life, food and raiment.  Of which let us be thankful for, and not be like the Israelites who grumbled about what God was providing and He gave them what they asked for and then killed them....

And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, ere it was chewed, the wrath of the Lord was kindled against the people, and the Lord smote the people with a very great plague.

Numbers 11:33

I like sharing this periodically to remind us of the goodness and severity of God. (Read Romans 11)  Goodness offering Christ, granting repentance, giving us His Holy Spirit and the power to overcome sin and of course the hope of eternal life if we endure.  But yet we just saw His severity in Numbers 11, we see it in Acts 5 where He killed a couple in Acts 5 (AFTER GRACE HAD COME) and go study 1 Corinthians 11 where Paul rebukes them and claims some 'sleep' (are dead) and sick.  God killing people is not a good thing so let us remember that and be zealous to follow after Him in spirit and truth.

Here's another thought sisters.  I wrote a post called Mennonite Madness yesterday to warn others of their unbiblical ways and while we were driving, saw this.

Some people look at that and say 'Oh what a simple way to live' and they respect them for doing it.'  I'd like to shine a different light on it and say although the horse is nice and the buggy is nice, what it represents is sinful. Let's read Mark 7:6-8

He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me

Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.

First of all I want to share that the Amish are not biblical and hold to many, many sinful ways that will lead to death and are not a true representation of the body of Christ but we're going to just look at that one example to understand what I'm getting at. So someone might think, what's wrong with a group making their people use a horse and buggy.  Well, let's look at it this way:

Say there was a body of believers that had everything right according to doctrine and they were obedient in all ways BUT they demanded that in order to join them you have to wear a specific headcovering and specific dress. (I'm using womanly example here.)  Now they are making man made rules, isn't this going against the Mark 7 warning?  They would keep someone out of being part of a local body of believers because they demand a man made tradition be followed.  Yes, just ONE man made tradition can void our worship sisters.  No, the Amish are not close to being biblical because they have a LOT of man made traditions and they have a false gospel as well so it's no wonder what follows is not of God. I was using that as an example to expose them to you so you don't get swept away with them AND to expose to you that you should NEVER accept man made traditions even if it's just one!  I care about your soul and loving or practicing ONE LIE will leave you outside the gates.

For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.  Revelation 22:15

(Maketh means to do, abide, practice etc.)

Lies lead to death, truth leads to life.  I want you all waking in truth and I'm here to help you!

As I was finishing up this post, we are back in that park where we were yesterday afternoon when a man stopped by to talk because he saw the signs on the van.  He ended up getting fleshly and we thought he was going to take a swing at brother Jim. (Audio to come.)  Meanwhile, there was a woman sitting on the other side of the pavilion working on something, listening to all that went on.  (She ended up moving to another spot.)  Later as I was working, brother Jim was in the middle of something and she came over and gave me this...

She said she has anxiety so she does these colorings and shares them with people.  I thanked her and immediately gave her a gospel card.  I would have loved to talk to her about being set free from this world and following after Christ but she was already walking off, thanking me for the gospel card over her shoulder. I watched her walk across the park and it made my heart sad. So many lost people that don't see the hope and truth... that was me before Christ. Then my heart was immediately lifted in joy because I gave her the gospel and maybe that will be seeds to help her find the truth like it did for me!

The interesting thing about this is that both brother Jim and I made a point to say hello to her when she came by to sit down.

Glory to God!

Just another day in the life of saints striving after our Savior!

I hope your day is joyous in the Lord.

Grace, peace, blessings and love to you all.
