A Day in the Life (August 30, 2021)

 Good evening sister saints!

How was your day in the life of a saint?  Were you striving in all holiness or were you swept away with the cares of the world that then swept you away into sin, or close to it?

Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

Do not err, my beloved brethren.

James 1:13-16

Our day, in the lives of us saints was joyous in the Lord. We rejoiced in the Lord for this day and the hope that lies before us, gave thanks for allowing us safe travels, worked and witnessed along the way, overcame the temptation of being discouraged by some of those claiming Christ yet causing confusion,  rejoiced with saints who are striving, saw some of God's beautiful creation during our travels and were nourished with good foods.

(thank you for the scripture pictures sister:-)

What a glorious Savior we serve! We are rich with many blessings and the most important ones are unseen until we can be with the Father.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hebrews 11:1

I took a couple pics of our travel today.

Oh, this sunset was from last night at our parking spot. The sky, the land, the sea...what awesome and unfathomable creations and yet there lies creation within all those things too.  Layer after layer we see down the the most minute cell and even within that is more unthinkable miracles that were spoken into existence.  (And man thinks he's something when he takes years to try to send a piece of metal into the sky.-)

I made one little travel video but maybe tomorrow I can get back on them again:-)

Brother Jim took this picture so I could share it with you, how cute.

It says 'customer in training'. It brings to mind how we should be training our children to be adults in training but sadly most people train their children to continue being children and then when they reach a certain age (in America it seems to be the age of 18 or so) they tell them they should be grown up but have not been trained for it.  Young children can be trained to be young adults, at a young age, this is how they learn to be sober...

That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

Titus 2:4

*************

Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.  Titus 2:6

So much silliness in this world when we are to be diligent in the things of God.

As I type this, brother Jim's playing an audio of a witnessing event we had in a park.  The man got super angry and was coming at brother Jim (we were both sitting at the table)...and he was the one who walked up by us.  You can listen to it HERE.  (Listen close and you'll hear feminism going on.)  And people wonder why we record things.  He lied and then accused brother Jim of calling his wife a whore. (Listen close he said 'your HOME is feminized') Crazy world, it's surely a spiritual battle sisters.

While we're on the subject of recording, I'll confess that I'm tired of people getting upset about why we record or videotape.  Can't go into a grocery store, gas station, bank, fast food, hardware, police station, post office etc without a video running on you.  People have cell phones videoing everything around them.  'They' are listening and recording whatever you say on your phone and who knows where else. The bible has David's adultery and murder recorded, Paul rebukes Peter and it's recorded, Noah getting drunk was recorded, Lot's wife turning to salt recorded and I'd be here all night listing all the things that were recorded that we can read about today.  Reading, listening, watching...is there any difference between the three?  They all record the events and what happened.

BUT...people love it when something good was recorded and they then spread it like a wildfire around the internet.  Seems to be sin covering going on that they don't like.  Tell you what....I'd be happy for anyone to record what I say, same with brother Jim.  We'd love the truth to go out!  AND if I ever said something that wasn't right then I'd love for the person to show that as an example of what NOT to say.

Darkness is what people want.  Darkness to cover sin...

Let that not be us sisters.  Say what you mean, mean what you say and make sure it lines up with scripture.

I have to go for now but Lord willing will be back tomorrow:-)
Hold fast sister saints, I love you with a fervent love,
Sister Deb

(A sister just shared this and I share it with you:)

For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:

 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;

For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Hebrews 9:24-28
