Good Works!
Hello to my sisters in Christ!!!
I'm so thankful to know some of you and be able to encourage you in many ways. Those I don't know that follow this blog, if you truly are my born again sister, I hope this blog presses you on in encouragement! For those of you who read here and are not sure if you are truly a child of God or are in sin that you are not willing to give up, I encourage you to test yourself with the biblical gospel HERE.
It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Hebrews 10:31
Jesus Christ is coming back...
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power
2 Thessalonians 1:7-9
Brother Jim and I are called to travel the country sharing the gospel, calling sinners to repentance and encouraging the true ekklesia (called out followers of Christ) to continue on in the faith in holiness and obedience, producing good works in the name of our Master. All saints are to do good works amen sisters? Feel free to share your good works as it encourages others! (It does for me and some other sisters I know.)
We just had a woman worker of Satan saying all sorts of wicked things while trying to rebuke brother Jim. (Feminism) And one of the things she mentioned was that brother Jim wearing his tunic was like 'good works' and scoffed at him.
Yep. We know she meant it as working your way to heaven but the good works part was correct... It is good works too dress biblical. Let's go read about good works.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:16

And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Hebrews 10:24
Yep, good works are brother Jim wearing his tunic and us sisters dressing biblically and covering out heads. Good works are loving God and loving our neighbor. Good works are submitting to our husbands and/or male authority. Good works are edifying the saints. Good works are keeping the house, raising children and taking care of those in our lives. Good works are not loving the things of this world and being separate from it. The list could go on and on so the next time someone accuses you of 'good works' ...rejoice!!
Let's end with this...
Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. James 2:24
