Let the Word Go Out

Good evening sister saints!

Praise God we were blessed to be able to witness at a wicked music festival yesterday called Livin' Out Loud in Gothenburg Nebraska, you can see the videos and audios HERE.  It's run by people who claim Christ but by their fruit are far from it, how wicked and carnal it was.  We were blessed with parking right in front of the park and the manager of the show said we were welcome to walk in amongst the vendors and the people!  Praise the Lord!  I was rejoicing that the Lord used me to witness to many women and I have a few audios to share.

One woman kept trying to defend her sin and after she left the first time, she came back and we talked for a bit until she kept (again) trying to defend sin.  You can hear the first encounter HERE.

Late in the night it was dark and we stood under a street light where everyone was walking by to leave and a woman left early and came to talk.  She seemed to see through the hypocrites of man made religion, saw that religious people had no changed life and at the end she was really quiet and listening when I told her about becoming a new creation and she could too.  You can listen to it HERE.  I was super excited about that....so glad to be there to share truth with a seeking soul.

Toward the end a woman walked by with her children, said something in passing of which we couldn't hear.  She came back a few minutes later and you can hear the audio HERE.  She claims her husband is a pastor and her children were very rude and wicked to brother Jim.

There was a very young woman (16?) who stopped and was nicely asking what we were all about.  I got to share a lot with her, she took the card and thanked me.  

Another woman, shortly after we got there, wanted to give me a hug.  Instead, I asked her why she was there and did she know how much sin there was.  I was able to witness for quite a while until a woman started yelling at me to get moving and I nicely told her that "she could get moving as this woman approached me and we were having a conversation."  The woman who wanted to hug me started to leave and I said thank you for the offer of a hug but it would be better if she got her life in line with God's word and offered the gospel instead.  It ended pretty well and she walked away with the gospel card and her son.  

I had several brief encounters with contentious women and contended with them as they walked by, slinging out their words but too fearful to stand and talk about the truth.

At one point, brother Jim was talking to a man for quite a while and as the people were walking by I was handing out gospel cards and telling them how unbiblical it was, how wicked and demonic that music was  and that we love them, that's why we were there.   

It's a wicked world and the workers are few sisters, keep shining your light, in the ministry God has for you and know that your labors are not in vain to the Lord.  

I love that, thank you sister for the scripture pictures!  We see that God worked (making the world) and it was good, we see the brothers and sisters before us doing good works and we too, are called unto good works because of Him.

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 

Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 

Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.  

Titus 2:11-15 

And let me point something out here....'let no man despise thee'. 

Despise:

I want to encourage you sisters in your good works and don't let anyone cut you down about it because this....

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.  

Matthew 5:16 

I used to get stumbled on my blog when I would post things we did that would be an honor to the Lord but I though someone would think I was boasting or lifting myself up.  I no longer care what anyone things because I know the TRUE brethren share their good works to ENCOURAGE one another whereas those who cut it down are mockers and usually have little to no good works.   Let's go read that verse again sisters...

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.  

Matthew 5:16 

Yep, it says what it says so do it and rejoice when you do!!!  

Praise the Lord for us being able to do His work wherever He has us.

I love how they were gazing up into heaven....and He shall return.

Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.  

Revelation 1:7 

The Word was in the beginning...

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 

John 1:1 

The Word came in the flesh...

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.  

John 1:14 

The Word was spoken by the Word (Jesus)...

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.  Matthew 4:4 

And we are to send forth the Word as His workers.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15 

Let the Word go out...into a dark world sisters!

No travel video today as we didn't go far so I took you on a walk by the lake I found to park for the night.  (I'm thankful for good travel apps to find such places and knowing the area and territory helps.)
