Light Shining in the Darkness

 Good evening sister saints!

Praise the Lord for this day to serve Him! We went out to preach at a busy tourist town in the mountains, you can see the videos and audios HERE.

Before we went though, I was blessed with encouragement from sisters (emails, prayers and this scripture picture) all doing the works of the body in unity and of one mind.

I'm rich in love from sisters in Christ, thank you all for your love of the Lord and your obedience to Him which makes us all work together and the love overflows.  I made a little video / audio before we went out...

As we were walking through the people with our signs and brother Jim preaching, I saw a few men with long beards and relatively simple clothing on and my mind would immediately wonder if they might be a brother in the Lord coming to talk.  I shared that with brother Jim and then guess what....about an hour later we walked to another corner and saw 3 men in tunics with long beards.  My heart leaped for a hopeful joy that they might be brothers but the conversation didn't turn out well...brother Jim is writing about it.  I'm thankful that I caught myself before too much flesh got involved and I let it all go...it is what it is and maybe seeds were planted or something.

And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. John 1:5

Light shined in the darkness, in our lives today on the streets, as the mockers walked by, many took gospel cards and some stopped to talk.  I'm sure your light pierced the darkness in your day as godly Titus 2 women, not being feminists, making sure your homes and those in your life are taken care of, covering your temples as God commanded, covering your heads biblically, killing your flesh and striving in obedience...that's a great light in a dark world sisters!  It's a great encouragement to me, being on the streets and seeing the near nakedness (some total nakedness even) and when I think of my obedient sisters it brings me great joy knowing that they are no longer under the grips of satan and I wonder who of all the people we come across, will be the next sister.  Even if I never meet her, I rejoice!

I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.  Luke 15:7

We're thankful for a good parking spot, same as last night but on the the other side of the road.

Brother Jim did an update HERE and on that you will learn more about the tunic wearing men and some other interesting things.

Let us sisters continue to shine our lights into the darkness that God be glorified and others might see and come out.

In godly love to you all,
Sister Deb

This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

1 John 1:5-7
