A Day in the Life (Sept 14, 2021)

Good day sister saints!

I want to share a scripture from a sister who had some struggles in the flesh and through the victory of the Lord, is filled with joy once again.

That verse has been shared among the sisters lately and glory to God how wonderful it is to share such precious words among each other. Another sister shared how God works all things out for those who love Him...

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28

She talked about her trials and how she was going to have to stand against others who would disagree but it helps grow our trust in Him when we have to pick up our cross and follow Him.

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.  Galatians 2:20

And...

And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?

For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.

Luke 9:23-26

Here's a question brother Jim said I should pose....when we have times of life that we are struggling in our flesh, how long would that last if Jesus were living right among us?  I ponder that question myself...

We are so blessed to see a young sister saint pressing through may trials and the edification and encouragement of the sisters is a great help to her.  Glory to God as He is the one who brings people together.

Although the brethren can be a great encouragement we are to cleave to the Lord as He is our strength and redeemer.

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

Psalm 19:14

Thank you sister for making the scripture pictures to share here with the sisters, how encouraging.

Amen, what a precious gift we have within the brethren.  We get to see the strengths and learn from them, the weaknesses and step up to help them and the love abounds and multiplies as we all grow in Him.

These 'day in the life' posts I do are just a conglomeration of things going on in our life of 2 saints serving the Lord, that might be of edification to someone.  Oftentimes my life, as a street preachers wife, consists of spurts of time in between everything going on and a sister and I use this symbol when it's a super busy day...
🐎🐎🐎🐎

Or if it's a slower day....
🐌.🐌.🐌.🐌

Most often our life is more of horse than the snail but it's all good. We rejoice in it all and thank the Lord for being able to share what we do with whoever is in our life, striving on.Yesterday we were woke up by another camper in the same parking lot, yelling "Is anybody home" at the door of our van and wanting to talk.  He brought a couple chairs over to sit and talk and glory to God, he got the gospel and much truth. You can listen to the audio HERE.  Brother Jim posted that on his update the other day but I wanted it here for those of you who might have missed it.  It's long but definitely worth listening to as it covers many topics and gives ideas on how to give an answer on certain areas.  One part I liked (because I can use it on the street) is when brother Jim shared with him (that man) his ideas and thoughts are going to die with him and that the Word of God will go on forever.

For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:

But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

1 Peter 1:24-25

In that audio you will hear about Pastor Sue, who told this man he was going to heaven based on how he treated his wife when she died etc.  This man clings to that just like the rest of the people who go to satans synogogues and get their itchy ears scratched with what they want to hear.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
2 Timothy 4:3-4

That's why we sainst do this...

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
2 Timothy 4:2

So sisters, just a thought,  you see the feminism of Pastor Sue who is breaking many commandments in who she is and what she does (no women pastors, not usurping authority over men, unbiblical dress, all the sins of man made religion etc)  and now look at your life and how you are a light in a dark world against such sins without even saying a word.  What a great calling we sisters have and our obedience by wearing biblical clothing and headcovering is a great sign against a sinful world.

I wrote a quick post the other day to encourage sisters about people who say we look like a muslim and here's a response from one sister.

Can you say that sisters?  Do you love dressing holy and covering this way for our Lord and Savior?  If we can't then we need to check our hearts and see if there is any pride within us that needs to be killed.

Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord : though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.

Proverbs 16:5

We see tremendous amounts of pride, every day here on the streets as I'm sure you do as well.  The other day as we were traveling I caught a sign on the side of a semi that said 'God bless America'.  I wonder if people in other countries say that about their country?  Maybe some of you sisters can let me know:-)  Anyway, so many people think America is a Christian nation and are filled to the overflowing of pride but it was not founded that way in fact it's got a history of bloodshed over money.  That's not Christlike and it's gotten worse every since with satan creating all his synogogues (man made religion) all over this land.  I told brother Jim that if a foreigner came to America and didn't know the religious organizations claim Christ (they steal His precious name and slap it on their profane)  the foreigner would think they are pagans worshiping their false gods.  There's very little biblical about them and it's clear to see if you study God's Word and test all things.  Brother Jim and I say it like it is and call sin what it is, sin.  We don't soften the word, we let the Hebrews 4 sword slice and do what it must.

We saw this bread in the store and these...

And then I found a really small squash like these:

I picked one up and said I should buy one and cook it for us but then I put it back and said I have better things to do than to be worrying about how to cook such things on my little propane stove in the van.  The bread, the squashes, the canning jars, the wood piles...they all get in my flesh because they are good and pure things to do but not in my life, that was my former life and for the life of the sisters where God has them.  So let me share this sisters, if you are wondering who would care about what your pumpkin harvest or how your loaf of bread and soup turned out, or how all your canning jars sealed or how the wind blew your laundry, that would be me. I care because it's what God has for you in your life and they all bring glory to our Father as He created all things, even the works you and I are to do! I'm blessed to have sisters who share such things and on the flip side.....we share our lives that others don't live.  Out here on the streets doing what we do, is a great encouragement to others and I didn't realize how much until a while ago a sister heard us witnessing at a wicked music fest, something that she's never been exposed to and made the comment of how glad she is that we share what we what we go through as it encourages her to press through her trials. Another sister mentioned that she's glad the Lord has equipped us to deal with such loudness and vile sins (since we came from that background) and we talked about how the Lord uses who we are (or used to be) for His glory.  So anyway, yeah, it's super refreshing to see the simple duties of my godly sisters going about their lives in great contrast to those who are in rebellion against a holy God.

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2 Timothy 3:1-5

We saw these and brother Jim stopped to take a picture to post here for you all.  Oh and let's give God glory for even more flowers....

Think about it, just one flower can show an infinite God who created it.  There are so many things to marvel within just that one creation, what about all the rest?!

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
Colossians 1:16-17

The other day while we were at a worldly music festival, we were in the van getting ready and someone stuck a gospel tract on our window. They could clearly see the signs on our van but instead of talking they chose to quietly slide on on the window next to brother Jim.  It's a false gospel linked to false ministries.

You can see my ear plugs that I use for such witnessing events.

We were blessed to find a good deal on yogurt today...2/$1

We bought some...

...and after trying one I went back in and got some more.  Our cooler overfloweth with yogurt, but more so we overfloweth with love of our Father who created it all and allows us to partake of. We don't get swept away with such things as food like the culture does, we are simply thankful for whatever we have.  I've noticed that the more simple we eat, the more thankful we are as it strips away all the trappings of the world.  What I mean is that I recall all the recipes that used to tempt me with all the preparations, sauces, spices, the way it looks and all the nutrients and calories and all that stuff that can distract you and it becomes a thankfulness for the one who cooked it all, along with pride for doing it instead of a thankfulness for the ingredients of a simple meal, given to the Creator of the Universe.

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Colossians 3:1-4

Quick travel video from the other day. I love to see God's creation in the cycle of another season.  Fall...crisp, cool, pretty colors, refreshing after hot summers and I think it's the nicest time of the year, and the prettiest.  I'm so thankful He lets us see His creation.

We have a lot planned ahead of us but we don't know if we will even get the days to do it so we shall do one day at a time cuz it's all we've been given.

Let us all keep following our shepherd, what an awesome thought of having a great shepherd.  One that leads us and will protect us from wolves.  Glory to our Savior!!!

Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Hebrews 13:20-21

Don't turn back sisters and we're here to help press you on.

Love in Christ Jesus, the Savior of the world.
