Mennonites, Ex Amish, Farmers Market and Coffee Shop Witnessing

 Greetings sister saints!

Praise the Lord for a great day of witnessing, God was glorified and the GOSPEL went out throughout the day.

I made a video to share some of it with you.

For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.

And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.

Acts 13:47-49

I talked about a false teaching Hebrew Roots body in that town and wanted to show you how many registered bodies they have in the US just under one registry. You can see them tested HERE

All that unbiblical false teaching going on with just one bad flavor of it.  I don't share it to discourage you but to encourage you to be strong and bold where you are in the life God has give you.  Remember this sisters, your obedience (headcovering, dress, separation from the world, resisting feminism, doing your Titus 2 works etc) is a great witness and shining light before you even open your mouth or hand out a gospel card!!!

Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
Proverbs 31:25

Here's the zucchini I bought but more important the gospel went out and the man was very receptive and interested.  I'm glad I pressed through my hesitation and presupposition because God was glorified.

Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear:
though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
Psalm 27:3

I have to say that when we were walking through the town the night before, it was strange that we noticed the sign in the coffee shop window because we never go to coffee shops (we might occasionally get a coffee from McDonalds on their deals and then go fishing:-) . It was just an unusual occurrence and I like to think that maybe the people in there might be greatly impacted by the precious Word that was shared.

Remember what happens when we are obedient in sharing the gospel or planting seeds in whatever way we can, with those around us.

After we were done we were putting away our signs and a man (and his family) walked up to talk.  Praise God! After all that we drove a half hour to a Mennonite event to talk to people and see what happens.  It turned out to be very fruitful because brother Jim was able to witness to several anabaptist men, one in particular that he talked to for quite some time was an ex Amish.  He and his wife were edified and seemed to be seeking truth, past what they have been taught and raised in.  Brother Jim will be doing an update to share all that.

Praise God for the body of Christ all doing their good works unto the Lord all over the World, His truth being upheld, lights shining and the glorious, life changing gospel going out.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:58

Brother Jim shared some encouragement tonight on the phone in a ministry call about taking one day at a time.  Focusing on the day we have been given and doing what we can in each one to the best of our godly ability.  It can be too easy to be swept away worrying about tomorrow when we have enough to deal with today.  I just told a sister not to be discouraged  and to give God His glory and to rejoice in the peace and joy He gives.  Let us all do the same.

I have to go now sisters but I'll leave you with a bit of God's creation we saw today.

Much love to you sister saints who love the Lord.  I love you all in the Lord and pray you stay strong in the power of His might.
Sister Deb

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. [14] For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
