An Awesome God (1 Kings 18)

 Good evening sister saints!

I wanted to share some scriptures to encourage and strengthen us all so I made an audio and in it, read a passage from the Old Testament that is pretty amazing. You can find that HERE.

We can't even imagine what that fire looked like when it shot down from heaven and burned it all up and I love how it says the fire licked up the water that was in the trench!

Hopefully that encouraged you sisters as much as it did for me reading it:-)

What a powerful God, one to be greatly feared!

O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.

For the Lord most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.

He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.

He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.

God is gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.

Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.

For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.

God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.

The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.

Psalm 47:1-9

I took my evening walk and share this awesome sunset.  It was actually dark red but the camera didn't pick it all up but it's still pretty.  We're blessed to view the Lord's creation aren't we?

Here's an audio brother James did a while back that teaches how the thief on the cross did more than just believe and preaches the gospel within it.

I hope you have a joyous day tomorrow if the Lord gives it to you and if I get one again, I'll do my best to come back here and encourage you on, glorifying the Lord in our lives.

Fervent godly love to my sister soldier saints.

Sister Deb

Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
