A Day in the Life (Dec 7, 2021)

Greetings sister saints who love the Lord!

Praise God for all we have and let us live our lives in thankfulness and contentment.  A few days ago I read out of 1st Corinthians 15 about how we will have heavenly bodies someday and a sister made this (and the other two) scripture pictures for me to use in this post here :-)

That just shows us the awesome power of an awesome Savior!  What a glorious thing to look forward to!

I'm just posting some random pictures and videos over the past several days and sharing some thoughts and comments and giving praise and honor to God.

There's been a lot of this going on and I'm hoping to be on the other side getting better soon :-).

I was thanking a sister for sharing some helpful recipes for illnesses this morning.

We had a sister's call not too long ago and talked about doing good to our enemies and not overlooking opportunities.

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Matthew 5:44-45

There are many such convicting verses if you go look them up, I suggest you do that sometime as it's good to remind ourselves of such things.  It's too easy to try to avoid our enemies instead of doing good and heaping coals.

Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.  Romans 12:20

Which we hope will bring conviction.

Amen, that is what the body of Christ does if there is love for one another. We recently had somebody lying about brother James on the internet and said it would be best if people just pretended brother James didn't even exist.  Where's the 1 John godly love in that? Where's the "doing good"  to your "enemies"? What a wicked thing to say especially since brother James has reached out to this young man (who was briefly united to us at one time) and his family many times but they just hide in the dark. (You can see what he's saying HERE.)  I'm blessed to be very close to his godly sister who (I love) is stedfastly standing strong on the word and not wavering!   We have a lot of enemies because the world hates the truth, but so it was said from our Savior.

Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

1 John 3:13

Oh and here's the verse this young man and his family need to seriously ponder from their approval of such wicked actions:

We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

1 John 3:14-16

I will never pretend my brothers or sisters don't exist, I will lay down my life for them and I will love my enemies as our Saviour says to and try to save them from the flames of destruction.  Jesus said the love would wax cold and we see it all over the place.

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. [11] And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Matthew 24:9-13

Amen, God hears the cries of His children and he will look out for them.

When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble.

Have mercy upon me, O Lord ; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death: [

That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.

The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.

The Lord is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.

 Psalm 9:12-16

Brother James finished the first guest cabin and is now working on the second one. We had to run to town to get some materials and you can give God glory with us over that awesome sunset!

I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.

Psalm 9:2

The next morning he loaded it up to push it to the cabin.

It's so nice not to have to deal with codes and regulations in this area but then again off-grid living is not for the general population but it's how people used to live.

While we were out yesterday we stopped at a thrift store to get some things for the second guest cabin.

We are thankful to find such blessings at a very good deal.

There's been a lot of soup making going on here :-)

And I'm thankful to be able to do such Titus 2 duties with all the blessings the Lord has given us.  We truly are rich aren't we sisters! We have the hope of eternal life that lies before us if we continue until the end. ( See the gospel HERE.)  And even on top of that He blesses us with more than just food and raiment but many other things for us to get through this life. Let us not take any of them lightly.

Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Ephesians 5:20

Another awesome blessing we have is that we can burn our garbage and not have to take it to the landfill.

And to view God's awesome creation is another grand blessing.

That's a pileated woodpecker, they fly like a missile through the forest.  It's a wonder they don't fly into branches and trees but that's part of the miraculous creation from our Father.

In between it all is much ministry work being done online.  It's crazy in this day that we can preach the gospel all over the world from our old van no matter where we are.  Glory to God!  You can do the same!

I hope you are all striving in the strength of the Lord, pressing on and looking to see how you can encourage other saints to do so as well.  You don't want to forget they exist....

Much love to you soldier sister saints.

Blessings and peace,

Sister Deb
