A Day In The Life (Dec 9, 2021)

Good evening sister saints :-)

Praise God we got a new day and a very beautiful one at that.

We are always thankful for each one we get and  I'm also thankful for the new covenant that was promised us.

For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.

For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

Hebrews 8:7-8

I did some more clothes washing :-) one of my favorite jobs!

Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.

Proverbs 31:25

I love how God dries them with the sun and the breeze :-)

And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. Genesis 1:16

I also aired out some blankets that are going into the second guest cabin.

Speaking of which, I have a bunch of supplies and such all ready to equip it and make it homey.

To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

Titus 2:5

If all goes well this will become a curtain after I sew it tomorrow, Lord willing.   All the other ones are finished.

Here's some evidence of brother James hard work today.

And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you

1 Thessalonians 4:11

All those scraps will be put to good use.

He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

 Luke 16:10

These cushions (airing in the sun and fresh air)  will be made into a bed for the cabin. They came from the little RV we bought many years ago to begin our mission trips.

Just doing my Titus 2 duties and brought over some yummy golden milk to brother James so we could take a break and refresh.

Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another

Romans 12:10

If you are interested in how we make our coffee in the van life now (coffee makers kept going bad) you can find a video HERE

I also put brother James dinner in to thermal cook...

And more soup making for me, went on today too...

The other day I made brother James a pizza...

She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

Proverbs 31:27

Speaking of cooking, we organized some of my canning supplies today. What wonderful tools for a homemaker!

At harvest time my pressure canner was running almost non-stop.  It makes us think of Christians who need to continue to endure non-stop under pressure.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Galatians 6:9

The Bible says not to store our riches here on earth...

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:.

Matthew 6:19-20

... but it is wise to have some sort of food storage.

And the famine was over all the face of the earth: And Joseph opened all the storehouses, and sold unto the Egyptians; and the famine waxed sore in the land of Egypt.

And all countries came into Egypt to Joseph for to buy corn ; because that the famine was so sore in all lands.

Genesis 41:56-57

I thought you might like to see some of these cute little homes in a town near us.

They are super tiny!

A nice inexpensive way to live and we know all about that.  Small spaces and simple living allow for a person to focus on what's important.... Living for Christ, sharing the GOSPEL and encouraging the brethren.

Praise God!

See brother James update from yesterday HERE.

I hope your day is joyous and let me know if I can encouraged you in the faith.

Love, blessings, peace and joy,

Sister Deb

For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
