Glorious Gospel
Good evening sister saints!
Thank you sister for the scripture picture:-) Amen, It starts with faith...
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Romans 10:17
Not faith alone though. Many false converts like to say Faith Alone and all those lies that go with the solas, because they are keeping sin and want to pretend that it's all good and God will overlook their iniquities but they are in danger of hell fire if they don't repent.
I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Luke 13:3
I'm thankful God granted me repentance and made me new in Christ.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17
And because of that awesome gift, we walk in obedience and holiness (without which no one will see God) in His commands until the end.
Pretty simple to understand, even our grandson got it when he was very young, but then again God blinds the eyes of those who truly are not His.
I hope you are His....?
Test yourself to the gospel HERE. It's not to be taken lightly like the 5 unwise virgins, we don't want the door shut on us.
Jesus said STRIVE...
Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. Luke 13:24
He said a lot more in reference to this topic, listen to an audio brother James did HERE on how Jesus wasn't a faith alone, grace alone preacher.
I never tire of the Gospel because it gave me life and I want that for everyone else. But we know most will reject it and twist into what suits their life, but we don't stop living it or sharing it because we never know who will come.
And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
Revelation 22:17
Glory to God for such a precious gift!!! Brother James and I had to do some running of errands today and the gospel went out all over. Let your light shine sisters you never know who will be a sheep.
I hope you all have a joyous day tomorrow, if the Lord gives it to you.
Love in Christ,
Sister Deb
