Hodgepodge From the Homestead

Greetings to the faithful sisters around the world!

I hope your day is going well sister saints. Ours is going very well, just us saints living our life for the Lord, sharing the Word, thoughts, encouragement and life together.  I pray you are holding fast to the true faith, enduring your trials to the glory of God and obeying Him because you love Him.

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

1 Corinthians 10:13

Let's glorify God together and see some sweet, beautiful birds just doing what He created them to do.

How amiable are thy tabernacles, O Lord of hosts!

My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord : my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.

Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God.

Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.

Psalm 84:1-4

I saw this at a thrift store a while ago and I thought my Titus 2 sisters would like the simplicity of what it stands for...

Someone took the time to remove them all from clothing, bags, crafts and other useful things. They can be used as a teaching tool for children to learn color matching, teaching simple sewing skills, dexterity in stacking them, lining them in rows or shapes etc.

You can listen to an audio by brother James ( HERE ) on parents raising children.

I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

John 10:14

And if you are interested, there's another children's post ( HERE ) with a video of a shepherd herding the sheep.

We have the first cabin done, you can see a tour of it ( HERE ).

And more work going on the second one, to be done very soon, Lord willing.

We had a different project to do today also...

Brother James could use a new pair of work boots. He was kneeling down wiring an outlet when I saw this ..

That's called getting the most out of them:-)

This will make a Titus 2 woman smile...

Its in my apple cider vinegar bottle we got at the discount store.  I told brother James that I'm rich in that blessing cuz it helps in pouring and it doesn't splash out all over lol.

I was sharing with sisters how awesome it is that we know the ending of all this spiritual battle going on...

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Revelation 21:3-8

How strengthening is that to have the assurance of that hope IF we strive in the faith in holiness and obedience as our reasonable service unto the Lord, enduring through it all, through His power.  Praise God.

Brother James had a great talk (almost 5 hours) with a young man who is seeing through man made religion and all the lies (pagan holidays, worldliness, tithe etc) and said something that was very encouraging.

He said that he can hardly find anyone, that claims Christ, to take the time to talk with him about the things of God.  He said he was thankful for the love that was shown to him by Brother James without condemnation because he was still working hard through all his issues.  He said that was very encouraging to him.  He was also thankful for the truth and seeing how narrow is the way.  It's so encouraging for us to see people wanting to shed all sin instead of making excuses to cling to it.  (Like the grace alone people.)

Praise God for being a light in a dark world.  Sister saints, keep standing strong on the word because those who have eyes to "see" will thank you for it and  those who are blind and led away in the lust of their flesh will try to convince you to go back and join them so they can justify their sins.

Brother James was warning this young man to watch out for the religious people cuz they are the worst haters of the truth just like in Jesus day.  He mentioned that even Pilate saw Jesus as just and the religious people couldn't.

When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.

Matthew 27:24

We see that in this day too. We constantly hear the world telling us about the hypocrite so called "christians" who do the same things they do (sports, worldliness, pagan Christ-mass Easter and other worldly pagan festivals, anger, hatred, foolish talking, idleness, gluttony etc) and the biggest one....lack of true love. It reminds me when we stood outside of a a Salvation army building and talked to the homeless people and sharing the GOSPEL.  They said there's no love coming from inside they just herd them in and out. It made us sad.  I remember witnessing to an old woman there, what a blessing to share truth with those who receive it and are thankful that we love the lost enough to go on the streets with them.

All to the glory of God.

Ok I have to go for now but Lord willing we shall see what's up for tomorrow, if we get the day.

True fervent love to you all,

Sister Deb
