Simple Van Fix, Wood, Cabins and Our Day

Good day sister saints who love the Lord and the brethren!

What a glorious day we are having here in the low 70's and breezy with lots of sunshine and it's midway through December.  We're so thankful because we are getting a lot done, praise God.

I did some washing this morning of brother James work tunic.

And I show you how I modified / lengthened a skirt.

More Titus 2 works going on in the van kitchen, making my soup.

We had an issue with the van door not working so brother James fixed it.

And we took care of a load of wood.  🪵🪓

I save all the bits and pieces because it makes for great kindling to start fires.

I have several barrels full all ready and waiting.

We did more work on the second cabin...

I peeled another log that will go outside the front door on the porch.

And we made a video to show you how we cover some of the cabin walls.

And a video of the fold away bed in the guest cabin.

There's a new children's post HERE.  It's the parents job to teach their children, we just offer simple videos and bits and pieces of this and that for them to use.

We are thanking the Lord that something bad didn't happen today...

Even when someone has had a lifetime of using them like brother James, they can still be dangerous and always used with great caution. Tunics and chainsaws are a dangerous mix. I'm thankful it didn't pull the saw into his leg or it wouldn't have ended well. Our Father is watching over it all.

Brother James has no new cuts or wounds today even though working with all that metal...

That verse is about a different losing of life, one that we are willing forsake all for Christ.  Along with that would mean we are willing to give up our literal life for the cause of Christ as well.  Most people won't even give up Christ-mass so how would they ever lose their life for Him?  (Thank you sister for the scriptures on the beautiful rose pictures:-)

That's so awesome isn't it sister?  Sadly the professed believers pick that one out and cling to it but they forget what is said right before it.

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing ; and I will receive you,

2 Corinthians 6:17

We can't be His sons and daughters without coming out of the world, and forsaking all, just like we talked about losing our life.  Can you forsake all for Christ?  (Even Christ-mass?)  I keep hammering on that pagan day because everyone is so enamored by it and the professed believers can't even see they are in spiritual harlotry against a holy God by practicing such a wicked event that spawns from satan.

I love that, being a daughter of the most High God!!!

We sisters were talking a while back about our words and how the slangs and sayings of the culture have been ingrained in us. We talked about some examples and how we could use different words or phrases or perhaps not use some at all.  I thought I'd share an example with you, a recent issue that made me think of this conversation.

This is a hater hiding behind a facebook page trying to smear brother James but this person is a coward and will not come to him to discuss doctrine and doesn't show anything for a ministry.  Crazy how people spend the time to hate other people on social media and then selfishly live their lives for themselves, meanwhile being accountable for trying to tear down God's people.  Anyway see the word 'screw' in there?  I don't even like talking about this but this person is apparently claiming Christ as otherwise why would an atheist worry about such things?  So a professed believer (?) is using a slang word that this culture deems as something from a sexual nature?  They (whoever it is, male or female) should be ashamed not only of being a coward, or trying to defame God's people, or not having a godly ministry of their own, or defending the worldly carnal pagan activity of Christ-mass, but using slang words that refer to such vulgarity! People who approve of such things should be ashamed as well.  God will render to everyone according to their deeds.

But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

For there is no respect of persons with God.
Romans 2:5-11

I hope they read that and weep tears of repentance. What wicked people there are and where's the love?
I think people skip over this too...

But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

Matthew 5:22

There's hellfire waiting for many who are blind...I pray they all repent and have eyes to see and ears to hear before it's too late.

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Matthew 24:12

We certainly see the love waxing cold today.  Very few are sharing the biblical gospel with anybody they're just selfishly living their lives for themselves.  We see more love from the world and the homeless and the downcast than the professed believers.  So much hypocrisy...just the same as Jesus had to deal with in his time. Nothing new under the sun. (By the way, brother James doesn't mind being called names but they should at least be biblical and not fleshly sarcastic ones, which show the heart of the name caller.) We don't let all that bother us and I hope none of you sisters do either.

But we sisters just keep shining our lights and cherish that joy and peace that Jesus offers us, sharing the GOSPEL as we go.

I love my obedient sister saints who have unfeigned love.  (Unlike those who claim to have care and concern to your face but sin against you in the dark. )

Thank you sister for adding the scripture to the picture I sent you:-)

And checkout this spider brother James found while cutting tin.

What amazing creatures, creepy but wonderfully made by a wonderful Creator!!!

Glory to God! Let us stand strong for the truth and bold against those who try to move us off it. Keep striving on and I'm here to encourage you.

Blessings, peace, joy and hope in the name of Christ,
Sister Deb
