The Fruits of a Godly Woman Who is Married to an Unbeliever

Good day sister saints !

I hope you are striving on in the Lord, keeping Him as the focus and remembering why we do what we do for Him.  We don't do it 'to be saved' , we do it because we have been transformed with a new heart and new mind of course as Jesus said, out of your mouth your heart speaks which would also mean our daily life and actions.  If we are truly children of God then we will have the fruit of God in us, amen?

Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance Matthew 3:8 

We are rejoicing for a beautiful day today with some sunshine and clouds, and warmer than the icy cold we've been having. In fact I see one of my water barrels is accessible to water so I can wash clothes.

That was after brother James pulled this big ice chunk out!

Icy cold water doesn't wash clothes well so I do use a bit of warm to take off the edge and it's still cold but then I rinse in cold and the stick my hands in some warm water to unfreeze them lol.  I'm just thankful to have water to wash  my clothes.  

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. 

Colossians 3:15 

Looking at the 'be ye thankful' part, makes me remember every bit of a blessing I have and many other things in this life that we can overlook.

Brother James caught this cardinal getting a drink, how beautiful.

 We have been working on so many projects here it's unbelievable and so satisfying.  It's also been good for us as brother / sister in the Lord, husband / wife and our works in the ministry, to reassess ourselves, our faith, our direction, and our 'being' with the Lord.  I know some of you are super busy and have a lot going on and I can say that I we totally understand how it can be overwhelming at times as we've been through it, maybe not all in the same ways as others but just remember this:

Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.  

1 Peter 5:9 

I wanted to point out the part that it says " the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. "  We all encounter many things in our walk and we can take solace that we are not alone and others are pressing through theirs, and drawing strength from their courage and perseverance can help us.  

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) 

And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:  

Hebrews 10:23-24 

Edification and fellowship with the saints also helps, which is why God set it up that way.  We all encourage one another on in the calling the Lord has for us, shining our lights all over the world.

One of the projects that we just finished was a couch for our tiny house.  

Here's a before and after picture.

We were content with sitting on plastic chairs or at the table but this is so much more comfortable and a wonderful blessing for us.  I told some sisters I feel like a queen.  And it cost about $25, you can see the process and a video of it (HERE) .

And see a children's post  (HERE) of a cold slow spider:-)  The creation is fascinating and so many aspects to make a person ponder the magnitude of the Creator.  I'm so thankful He lets us see His creation.

I wanted to add an encouragement to you mothers out there raising children and praise you for your diligence and working hard to not grow weary.  We sisters who don't have that blessing and ministry of children would gladly help and encourage you if we could but know that we are with you in spirit and prayer.

Let's see what tomorrow brings, if the Lord gives it to us. Until then we continue to be godly women, obeying the Lord, being a witness of truth to those around us, patiently waiting upon the Lord, His will and His timing for all things.
