Encouragement for Christian Sisters

Hello Sisters! Today is a new day in Christ, each one is a gift.  I hope you are striving on strong, beware to always put on your armor for each day as satan is lurking every day... Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8 We had to do some errands this morning and while we were out we decided to stop at a dent and bent grocery on our way by.  They are a discount grocery where supermarkets send dented and damaged goods for very discounted prices.  Some people call them salvage goods, but whatever the name, we always stop when we can because we find great deals on natural and organic items.   I thought it would just be a fun trip to take you inside and see... After doing that we had to do more errands and while Jim was talking to the mechanic about our trailer I felt a bit convicted that he was in the video and I wasn't so I thought I'd do a quick one of me so you can have

Hello Sisters! I hope you had a joyous day, we did. The weather was very nice, warm and sunny with a nice breeze.  Today Jim worked on getting the cargo trailer all set up with his carving gear and I was in the cargo van cleaning walls etc and being thankful for the room that we will have in there, a little more than I thought so I'm happy about that! (We always find good deals in discount stores when we travel so I will have some room to store extras if need be:-) As evening came there was an awesome sunset and right then I had a desire to do a video about letting go.   We've had more learning lessons in our life recently and it's been on my heart to let go of the very few people we have from our past and allow God to move us on.  It doesn't mean we won't see them anymore (as brief as our visits are) but it does mean that in our hearts we are turning them over to God and His will be done.   Here's the video and I hope it's a blessing to you.

Hello Sisters, Praise God for another day to serve Him! But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,  Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.  Galatians 5:22-23 Sisters, I need a lot of that long suffering right now in this technology!  I won't even go into the details of what it took to get this video and post up because it might cause me to sin...but I will rejoice when it's done!!! :-) Anyway here's a video of me listing 10 ways we save money and in the future I'll do a video on each point and give a bit more detail. As keepers at home it's important that we use our finances wisely and spend it as unto the Lord.  We do what we can to be very frugal so as to be able to have more funds to travel and preach the gospel, I encourage you to do the same in your own households.  This video isn't all inclusive, it's just a few areas that we do.  We encourage people to be debt free

Greetings Sisters! I hope this day finds you well and seeking the peace and joy and comfort in the promises of our Father in heaven!  Today I wanted to write about clothing and send a brief reminder that clothes are sin coverings.  They are not to be a part of our personality, or be fashionable, or fancy, costly or pretty.   Clothing should be nothing more than loose cloth covering your body.  Should we care if the world stares?  Should we care if the world thinks we look frumpy or drab?  Our clothing should mean nothing to us but a thankfulness that our Father has provided for us.  Read Genesis 3 how He covered Adam and Eve.   Just as if someone walked in on you in the shower... you would be thankful for a big blanket to toss over yourself to cover your nakedness, so should our clothes be. But godliness with contentment is great gain.  For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.  And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

To my fellow keepers at home, I send love and blessings to you to rejoice in the life the Lord has given you.  To my obedient sisters, I praise you in your faithfulness, your unfailing duty of serving others, your giving and loving nature you bestow upon those in your life. Greetings Sisters! I pray you are staying off the internet for your theology!  That's what this post is about...getting off the internet and into God's Word.  Once again we see another professed Christian woman on the internet getting unbiblical theology (teaching) and causing turmoil in the household.  Ladies, please don't do this.  We continuously hear of women who are lonely and then they go poking around in youtube etc and of course satan gives them just what they are looking for disguised as biblical teaching, deceiving yet another itchy ear. Biblical fellowship is a blessing 'if' the Lord has believers for you BUT we are living in and heading towards the end times where there needs to be a falling away (2 Thessalonians 2) first.  What we're hearing is that women are being swept away in the video vlogs with families that 'look somewhat' biblical yet if you test their teachings (as we have tested many of them) you will see they do not procl

Hello Sisters! I hope you are well today and looking forward to spring time?  I guess that all depends on where you live though!  We see the squirrels and birds chaising each other around so it won't be long and there will be baby critters in the woods again:-) I'm excited to share a story with you about a family in another country that has been changed by the blood of Christ through their faith they have repented and are born again and are striving on in obedience. They live in a city of 1 million people and they know of not one other holy set apart believer there...but praise God they found our website and we can encourage them. They have a little girl who they homeschool (praise God because public schools are not for God's children) and in this homeschooling they are finding a lot of unbiblical issues to deal with as well as every day life.  Of course we know this life will bring many trials but learning how to cope with them and do the best we can while we are still
