Van Projects

Greetings sisters!
Have you been busy lately?  We have, the past many days and have a lot more in front of us.  Recently we went to get some supplies for a couple van projects...

It's amazing how fast a little box of hardware adds up in price!

Brother Jim had an interesting time picking out lumber because most of what he was looking for
was warped so it took a little while to find straight ones.

He eventually found enough :-)

This is what the back of the van currently looks like.
He removed the generator and accessories so he could build a new enclosure.  He's also planning a new storage space on top. I'm excited to see what it will look like when it's done.

We are looking forward to getting these projects done and moving on again, Lord willing.

What a peaceful drive through the countryside.

A fire is a rare treat for us!
In the next post (click HERE to read it)
I will share where we currently are.

As we were doing our shopping we were observing people and how they were standing so far away from others, the conversations about the drama in the world, the obsession about cleaning things that have been touched (I'm not belittling those things, just making observations), and we can't help but think how sad it is that people don't take eternity as seriously as a virus.  It must make God very angry.  It says man will curse God in the end...

And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
Revelation 16:9

They do the same thing satan did, wanted to be like God instead of giving Him the glory.  God hates some people...

The Lord trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
Psalm 11:5 (There are more verses on that subject.)

That should strike a fear and trembling in a person.

Let us, as children of God, use every day for the glory of God, not ourselves.  As we do our projects, as we live our lives, as we go about our business, let it all be because of Him and the end result for Him.  As a brother always says, He is infinite!

Great is our Lord, and of great power:
his understanding is infinite.
Psalm 147:5

Have a good evening and God be praised!

Blessings to you,
Sister Deb
