What False Doctrine and Bad Associations Can Do

 Greetings sisters in Christ!

Are you strong in the Lord today? We are holding fast and striving on through this dark world and we encourage you on as well!  This morning we went to stand outside a small anabaptist type religious body to hold our gospel signs, preach the gospel and call them out of their sins. It's called the Church of Monett, Missouri and you can see brother Jim's testing of it HERE with the sins he called them out of.  It's an interesting story because waaaaayyyy back when I was a babe in Christ, I was out on the internet looking for recipes and came across a blog by a very biblical looking woman who was writing about the things of God and sharing homemaking tips.  I read her blog for a time and then started to see troubling things in her theology (as I was learning to discern) so I stopped looking all the time and would only check back once in a while to see where she stood. (I knew then the false doctrine that was in that religious body and prayed she would eventually see through it also.) In between that time I told brother Jim about their group so he reached out to them in an email.  He was referred to the pastor and sent him an email, never to get a response.  Fast forward to last night when we rolled into their town.  (We were actually heading in a different direction when we decided to go there and it all worked out in God's timing!)  So last night, in preparation to go there, I looked up (online) this woman to see where she and her family stood today (I hadn't looked in over a year or two)...and was saddened by what I saw.  At one time way back, she sure 'seemed' to be more faith focused and had more truth or at least was seeking it perhaps?  Today I see nothing on her blog as she's pretty much let it die and her new passion is a kitchenware business and by the looks of it, she's sliding into the world.  After going back to examine their religious body's website and teachings, they too have fallen even further away than they were before. (They had some errors before but now are even further away, seemingly to become more ecumenical.)  It's a sad story as we always hope people press on forward but what we see is the falling away that is predicted.

Brother Jim said I should share all this with you as it's very important to stand on truth and test all things because we constantly see the ramifications of people not doing that.  I want to share this with you, not to be mean spirited (as we went to them in love) but to warn you sisters, it's a slow fade that happens over time.  No, this is not just a post about clothing either, what you do on the outside reveals what's on the inside  Here you will see a woman who went from being a worldly looking woman to dressing biblical, claiming to love the Lord and seeking truth. (Yes I used her pictures because she has them on the internet and promotes her religious body that deceives people. Some of you might even know who she is.)

That was her standard type dress and she even had a sewing shop for headcoverings and clothing.  At that time I had never seen anyone so biblically covered (no she didn't just wear all one color or just brown but simple earthy colors etc.)  The point of these pictures isn't just clothing it's to show you how she was covering herself in the beginning, talking about the love of God, the scriptures (even though not fully biblical) and today, well...see for yourself.

Those of you who know biblical standards can see right off that its form fit and accents areas we are to cover. She (based on other pics she's posted) has clearly lowered her dress standards and she's even promoting politics as you can see in the picture below.

Apparently that man is one of their 'church' members.

Do you see the fade?

We should be growing...

Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. [18] But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

2 Peter 3:17-18

Not going backwards.  We see it all the time, in fact I just wrote about it and the fall of another woman HERE. Those of you who have read enough of my posts will see that I constantly state that clothing does not make you a Christian, it's a manifestation on the outside of what's on the inside.  A godly woman who has faith in the shed blood of Christ, repented and is born again will strive in holiness and obedience in ALL areas and clothing is one big, visible evident area. (See the gospel below) I won't beat the clothing horse to death here and move on to more points.  So here you see that false doctrine and bad associations can pull you from whatever truth you had, amen?  Let's see more.

She used to write about the character traits of a godly woman, including being quiet, not teaching and being under the submission and authority of men.  She has fallen from that also as you can see in this video below.

Minutes after she walked away, one of their members called us idiots.  And let me show you the kind of signs they have on their vehicles.

Love.  The love the pastor showed us was to call brother Jim a wolf.  He hid in the darkness of his house and text brother Jim from there and wouldn't even come out to us, not even when one of his women was trying to contend.

Why am I sharing all this?  To warn you because I don't want you swept away by false teachers, bad associations and lies that most of the anabaptists teach, such as this group.  It's not gossip because they have a website, they post on the internet, (we are on the internet and people can test us all they want, we welcome that) and they go out and do sign evangelism (like we did by them today) and they call out others (as we called them out). As I type this I see she has removed some of her internet presence.  Instead of repenting she is hiding it now?  We see that a lot:-(

We continuously get people coming to us saying, "Why don't you just go talk to them or get to know them?"  Because we've been doing this for years and it always ends the same way with us getting the police called on us (surprisingly they didn't do that) and mean comments but not one man with a bible to discuss the word. No love shown.  With nothing to gain from all this we took the time to reach out, then test them, then go stand in the cold, misty, morning weather to show them their errors and offer help to the truth and where was the love?  You see that sign on the back of that van picture above, right?  Love your enemies....if they think we are their enemies they sure didn't love us.  That's called partiality and God's word tells us we're not to be a respecter of persons.  And such people who like to tell us how to do it, are not even doing it themselves and harboring false ways, so until they repent and show us another way to do it, we will continue on. This is serious stuff sisters....I could have been swept away years ago by many different anabaptist groups theology that I was looking into (when I should not have been doing so) and today I want to be that watchwoman warning other sisters not to do it.  Be warned sisters, as you can see, yet another example of what false doctrines and bad associations can do to a person.

Brother Jim made a video as we were leaving...

Love is warning others who are in false doctrines and being misled, amen?  If we say nothing and just let them be until they die in their sins, do we love them?  We truly pray they all repent and we will be right there to help them.  Sadly in all our years we have not seen one body or group in a building, repent of all their sins and strive toward truth.

Be strong on the word and He will not allow you to be deceived.

Love and blessings to you all,

Sister Deb
