A Typical Day

 Good evening sisters!

May the Lord have mercy on us one more day as we strive on in truth, wrestling our way through this world that is run by the evil one....for a time... as we know He will have an end.

Last night we were parked by a big electrical station that hummed REALLY LOUD!

But our little sound machine did a great job and allowed us to sleep through it.

It sounded like wind all night, which was better than that hummmmmm :-) Before I went to bed (and throughout the day) I used my magnesium spray.

I'm grateful to a sister in Christ who shared about it and the next day I found a discounted bottle!  I've used it years ago and totally forgot about it.  It helps (for some people) lessen aches and pains of muscles.

As we were driving to our destination, we encountered interesting roads.

See the arrow up there?  That's a steep hill and even more so in real life, the picture doesn't capture it.  We had to turn off before there so I'm not sure what was on the other side.

They also have busy loops down here and lot's of splits in the roads to where if you're not careful you get shoved right off an exit when you should have been going straight.

As we were going through a town, the vehicle in front of us had no brake lights so as we were at a stop light, brother Jim spoke to the man on his loud speaker.  At first he didn't look to thankful as he opened the door to look back at Jim to see what he was saying but then once he understood, he tried the brakes again and they still weren't working. The light turned green and he turned the other way down the road.  Then we got behind a vehicle with this on the back window.

We see it all the time, people calling the building the 'church'.  Technically the body of Christ is the 'called out ones',  (not church) you know, called out like:

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? [15] And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? [16] And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them ; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. [17] Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing ; and I will receive you, [18] And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. 2 Corinthians 6:14-18

Come out from among the pagan religious buildings and their man made traditions, practices and lies.  You might want to see brother Jim's teaching 'You've been Lied To' HERE.  Just another reason why we go and do what we do.

We are so thankful to have arrived at our destination for the weekend. I'm looking forward to no travel, except to the neighboring town where a cult is.  They have a lot of members living in the area so maybe there will be someone seeking truth and find their way out, or maybe not but either way, God be glorified.

I went into the BUSY store, these towns are super busy, and saw my nemesis on the way.

The street sweeper. They usually run in the wee early hours but worse than them are the blower guys. They walk around with leaf blowers, blowing garbage into the middle of the parking lot for the sweeper to pick it all up.  Oh well, sleep is overrated anyway.  It's one thing that I could do a lot of, the older I get, but we try hard to not fall into that trap and even when we're tired we continue to get up and go.  I always like this:

Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: [7] Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, [8] Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest. [9] How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep? [10] Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: [11] So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man. Proverbs 6;6-11

It's a good motivator!

We were blessed with this awesome Texas sunset.

And I couldn't wait to share this with you sisters. I had to wait in a long...really long line in the self check out lane and got to stand by the flowers ;-)

What an amazing creation, how awesome looking. Not only does our Creator Father blend the dark pink to the light, he also puts those things in the middle with all the color and texture.  And those perfect purple roses right next to it.  It was a pleasant waiting experience anyway:-)

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. [2] Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. Psalm 51:1-2

Let's see what tomorrow brings, amen sisters?  Stand strong and joyous in the Lor!

Blessings and peace to you all,

Sister Deb
