Are You My True Obedient Born Again Sister?
Good evening sister saints!
I made an audio for you and it's HERE if you want to listen to it. I hope that the answer to the question....would be YES! And I hope that you would also test me to the Word. (I actually did a post about testing me HERE.) This isn't about picking favorites and being closer to one sister than another, it's all about truth and if we are truly transformed in Christ, what will our fruit be?
Ephesians 4:12-16
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
There's so much deception in the world and brother Jim and I see it up close and personal as we are out on the streets among it, every single day. Just the other day we stood out front of a big sinful, worldly religious building and a husband & wife came to talk to us and after getting biblical truth, they said they were going in anyway. Later that day we saw them across town, they waved and hollered Hi but didn't want to stop and talk. What's the fruit of that? Certainly not glory to the Father as there cannot be unity when one party is in willful, disobedient sin. How sad and God is not glorified in it all.
Biblical obedience through all the saints is what can bring unity so let us all strive to obtain that which will bring honor and glory to our Father in heaven.
Now for some glory to the Father through His awesome creation.
They are so cute...
I hung them up and turned on the fan underneath them while the generator was charging everything. It's hard to dry clothes in the van when it's cloudy and cool so it can take days and with tiny spaces it can certainly create an opportunity for patience and thankfulness.
And a glimpse into our outdoor shower set up which is a blessing when we can use it.
Normally we have to shower in the van which entails the moving around of some things and hanging shower curtains up just right so they hang into the tote which we stand in to catch the water. It's a bit of a challenge to set up and do but it works and we're thankful for it. Now on the other hand when we have some privacy to use our outdoor shower, that's a treat.
And a glimpse of a quick lunch the other day.
Why do you care about our lunch? Because there are faithful sisters in the Lord watching, and I want them to know that it's okay to be simple, to be plain and be frugal. These random pics and peeks into our life shows you who we are and we like to be transparent. There's very little that we don't open ourselves up to here because we love the brethren and want all to see that we are who we say we are and there's nothing fake about us.
But these are just the small things to not get wrapped up in, only simple necessities to get by in this life while serving the King of King and Lord of Lords.
1 Samuel 12:23-25
Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way:
Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.
But if ye shall still do wickedly, ye shall be consumed, both ye and your king.
I pray that those of you reading this blog are striving in all obedience and if not, I pray you repent. Let me know if I can put anything here on the blog that would encourage you, edify you, help press you on sisters.
Peace and blessings,
Sister Deb
