Encouragement for Christian Sisters

Good evening sisters! I hope your day was victorious against the wiles of satan, he roams as a lion seeking whom to devour (1 Peter 5:8) and oftentimes those who are the victims are usually not at their strongest when he attacks. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:  Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. (1 Peter 5:8-9) It says to 'resist' him and there should be some comfort knowing that all the brethren around the world are going through the same fight.  Draw strength from that and don't give up. Good evening sisters! As I write this (posted at a later date) we have just arrived at our destination for the evening and we thank God for a safe trip!  It's actually cool outside (crazy for July!) and we are appreciating it because normal summer temps are coming back soon:-) We were rejoicing last night because it worked out to where several of the brothers from around the country were able to get on a conference call, all at the same time and talk about the things of God.  The people of God come from all different walks of life, each has their own back story and all are moving forward toward the kingdom of heaven and unity comes only when we are all of one mind.
