The Spirit Man vs The Flesh Man

Image
Greetings Sisters! I pray this finds you strong in the Lord and shining your light to the world!  One of the ways we can do that is to win the battle over the flesh man.  Brother Jim drew this picture as an illustration that the one you feed will thrive. This is so true and we see this happening all over, even when sounding the alarm. Romans 8 is an excellent book to encourage walking in the Spirit and not in the flesh. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3  For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4  That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5  For they that are after the flesh do mi

Ex Homeless Offering Us Help

Greetings sisters! I'm continuously amazed at the timing and the course of our path, that is of the Father. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.   (Proverbs 3:6) Just this morning I finished an article about how Jesus came for the lowly, you can read it here if you want. https://titus24sisters.blogspot.com/2019/09/jesus-came-for-lowly.html And then later on today an occurrence happened that coincides with that article and I wanted to share it with you. In the article I talked about how the 'professed' Christians snub us but the lowly and humble are the ones that come to ask us about the things of God. Jesus said this about His disciples: A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.  By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. (John 13:34-35) Guess what we have found?  Modern day Christians disobey that verse and in fa

Jesus Came For the Lowly

Greetings sisters! We are thankful to have made it to our next destination and have already had chances to witness.  In one instance there was a beggar on the corner and so we stopped and went around the block to go back and talk to them.  We never give money but we do give food and the gospel along with a phone number to help them get off the streets if they are interested.  (In the many years we have been doing this, we've only gotten one call and that was them asking for money.)  Let the Word go out and seeds be planted! It made me think of how Jesus didn't come for the righteous, he came for the sick, the sinners, the lowly... But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners?  And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.  I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. (Luke 5:30-32) I've talked about how we

Satan is No Respecter of Persons

Hello again sisters! I'm enjoying time to catch up on various topics I've been wanting to encourage you with and this is the first day we've had a few hours on end to do so. This post is pretty serious and I want to warn you to watch and be aware. We see in God's Word that He is no respecter of persons: For there is no respect of persons with God. Romans 2:11 And we are not to be that way... I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.  (1 Timothy 5:21) (And many other reference verses through God's Word.)   This means that there should be no preference made in any way of one person over another.  We see this is also true with satan and how he is with believers, no preference as he hates them all; male or female.  I had been thinking about this subject before we hit the road because we had some incidents that were pretty bol

Homemade Children's Learning Toys

Greetings sisters, in the name of the Lord. I send you all a cyber 'holy hug' of sisterly love.  Every day that I get to post on here is a joy because it's my way of showing love, care and encouragement to you.  I'm sure the Lord has you all busy in your own ways of showing love to others, all in different ways. A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.  By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. (John 13:34-35) It's one thing we see lacking on the true body of Christ: biblical love for one another....let it not be so among us. I was emailing with a sister about keepers at home subjects, (making homemade health products) and I mentioned how I used to make and sell them years ago when we were on the homestead.  I then remembered the learning toys I used to make and thought it might be a good post for those of you with children or grandchildre
