Grateful Good Morning

Image
Good morning sisters! We are so blessed to be daughters of the most High, are we not?!  He is a loving, gracious God to those who come to Him and if we continue on, we shall be with Him for all of eternity!  What better goal could there be? Last night we rolled into a camp spot that we've been to before, one of our favorite.  A tiny town with a nice park by a river, free for travelers going through the area.  It was dark when we got here but I still took advantage of the flowing water that God provided, to soak some clothes. This morning I washed them and made a quick video for you. And hung them out.  Here I tell you how we hang our clothes to dry. We are thankful for all the small things in this life, that allow us to continue on in doing the Lord's work, amen sisters? While we were here, brother Jim made an audio called ' The Cost is Great '. You can listen to that here: https://www.dontperish.com/audios-page-3.html (Read the instructions at the

If She Have Washed The Saints Feet

Image
Greetings fellow sister saints! Praise God for all He provides!  We have driven away from the city we were witnessing in the past few days and have an afternoon of peace and quiet in a park.   It's nearly 100 degrees today but we rejoice because we are sitting in the shade, working online ministry.  I think of Jonah... And the  Lord  God prepared a gourd, and made it to come up over Jonah, that it might be a shadow over his head, to deliver him from his grief. So Jonah was exceeding glad of the gourd. Jonah 4:6 But of course we know Jonah's heart wasn't right and God sent a worm to destroy that shade.  Let us remember to give thanks in all things and do the will of the Lord. Today I wanted to talk about foot washing and how it relates to both brother Jim and I.  We see in John 13 where Jesus shows us the ' example ' of being the lowest of servants by washing the disciples feet.  We see in 1 Timothy 5, the qualifications that a widow must meet

Produce And God's Creation

Greetings sisters in Christ! We have been busy lately, how about you? I don't feel like sharing about all the darkness that's been going on while we've been witnessing on the streets lately.  Praise God the Word is going out but it sure is a dark world. Instead, I thought I'd share about how we were traveling through the Wyoming countryside (on our way between cities) and what we found.  If you are not familiar, Wyoming is a very beautiful state with some areas having hills with grass, some with big beautiful mountains, some areas that are dry and wide open like this. With such a low populated state, sometimes there can be 2 hours of this between cities.  This state is known for tourism though and that's why we come to some of their cities, to share the gospel.  (Where we come from (the midwest of the country) it's hard to drive more than a half hour without coming through a city, most often less than that.)  While we were driving we came across

Do Unto Others

Image
Greetings sisters in Christ! I pray you are getting stronger every day, not wavering from the truth, not compromising or falling back.  We are in a continuous battle as we see in Ephesians 6, of which we always need to be prepared and strengthening ourselves.  Brother Jim and I see that all the time, daily in fact, how satan sends his workers to try to discourage, confuse, confound, cause chaos and bring believers down in any way possible.  One of the biggest tricks we see him pulling is to go after our character by people claiming we are judgmental, condemning and unloving.  We stand on the word of God, yet 'claiming' believers (not so much the world) are the ones to accuse.    Maybe you have heard of the 'golden rule'?  I grew up with it knowing it as ' Do unto others as you would have them to unto you '.  It comes from Matthew 7:12 and Luke 6:31. (I never knew, growing up, it came from the bible.)  Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men shoul

Snail Mail Communication

Image
Greetings sisters in Christ! I praise God that we have this opportunity to encourage one another through the means of technology yet on the other hand I wonder sometimes if the old fashioned way would be more meaningful in some ways (as a sister recently brought this subject up.) Brother Jim and I were taking a walk before heading down the road and we saw this mailbox in the middle of the side walk and it prompted me to write you about it. In days past, before all this quick technology, people had to wait long periods of time to receive communication from others and can you imagine how joyful and precious it was when it finally reached it's destination?  Today with all the 'instant' communication (and gratification), it can be taken for granted (we see that often) and therefore not be as glorifying to God as it can lessen the love of one another and reduce the preciousness of the saints. Brother Jim has an article on 'Love of the Brethren' you can read HERE

Witnessing at Mormon and Presbyterian Churches

Image
Greetings sisters! Praise God for the truth, amen?  It is what sets us free (John 8) from the bondage of satan and his world. A sister and I were just talking about this and she sent: 20  For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. 21  What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. 22  But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. 23  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:20-22 Speaking of being set free, we recently went out to shine that light of hope to an unbiblical Mormon and unbiblical Presbyterian church that were right next to each other. On the way there I prayed that the Lord protect us and if the police are called, then so be it but I trusted that our Father would make a way...and He did. No police came, how awesome!  We are al
