Lopsided Love

Good afternoon to my obedient sisters! How is your day going?  We are busy in the Lord and once again I will say it...God's perfect timing!!!  We decided to hold off on the street preaching today because there was a call for rain so we decided to go to a busy parking lot and work online ministry. I think the engine of the van was just barely turned off when a man walked up to brother Jim's window to talk.  He said he hands out bibles and quoted some scriptures and brother Jim helped him along with a biblical gospel.  (Based on the conversation, we question the truth of his story but God knows and he now has the real Truth :-) They talked for a bit and he left to get on a bus that he was hitching a ride from as he traveled around.  This is interesting because just yesterday I wrote here on the sisters blog that I was hoping to have opportunities to share the truth with more women.  (I go fishing every day in the store and fly my biblical sign on my basket but the opportunities

Another Day of Street Preaching (Super Bowl 2021)

Good evening to our sisters in Christ! Praise the Lord for a good day to share his truth, the word went out to thousands of people who were gathered for the sinful, fleshly superbowl festivities.  Here's one video, if you're interested you can see the rest HERE .   We share these videos with others to help brother that are training to go preach, sisters can see what they may have to deal with if their husbands are called to preach and for a real life look into the way the world reacts to the gospel.  When you stand out in among the world walking within touching distance of you, seeing them up close and personal, for hours and hours and they just go on with their life, not being affected by the Word, it's as stark slap in the face at the sheer volume of walking (spiritually) dead in this world.  (Just as our Savior said it would be.)  Today, for some reason, I was wanting to speak more and asked brother Jim if, when he's a bit distant from me and I'm not speaking ove

Your Worth is Within

Image
Good evening to our obedient sisters in Christ! May the Lord bless you this day as you strive on in holiness, enduring the hardships of this life and looking for the hope to come! Today I want to talk about our worth as godly women and where it comes from. I know some of you struggle in this area and there are times I do as well so I thought it would be a good topic to try cover in what I see and have learned.   Many women can have this struggle, finding their worth, (their perceived value) because they base it off external circumstances.  For instance, a single woman may think she's not worth much because she is not married.  A barren wife may see herself as little worth because she cannot bear children.  A married woman can base her worth off how good or bad her husband treats her.  Other aspects can affect the way a woman views herself such as her height, weight, facial features, intelligence, her voice, how many people are in her life, a job title or amount of pay, her living

Paying our Way But Eternal Life is a Gift

Good afternoon sisters in Christ! I hope your day is going well?  I'm joyous in the Lord and thankful for a beautiful day to be able to encourage you all:-)  I often share with you the frugality of how we travel and 99.9% of the time we are blessed with a free parking spot as well as discounted (or free) foods from my coupon apps etc.  I don't want to come across as being such a penny pincher that we won't share or that we won't invest in something of quality, or we're not paying our way because none are true.  I share with you so that people can understand why and how we are able to do what we do in our traveling evangelist life and that if it's the Lord's will for someone, He can make it happen as long as they are willing to forgo the fleshly things of this life to do it.  We do have bills each month (cell, health share, gas, and a few other minor things) but because we live the way we do, we don't have much for other bills except food and necessities

Be strong sister saints, we love you all. Sister Deb See the biblical gospel HERE for without it we have no hope!

Are You My True Obedient Born Again Sister?

Image
Good evening sister saints! I made an audio for you and it's  HERE   if you want to listen to it.   I hope that the answer to the question....would be YES!  And I hope that you would also test me to the Word.  (I actually did a post about testing me  HERE .)  This isn't about picking favorites and being closer to one sister than another, it's all about truth and if we are truly transformed in Christ, what will our fruit be?  If our fruit is truly in Christ, we will all be obedient to the Word, together, edifying and encouraging one another on, amen! Ephesians 4:12-16  For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:  Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:   That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning cr

Sorrow With Joy in the Midst

Image
Good evening sisters! I wanted to share this audio brother Jim just made, that clearly explains the great sorrow we have for the lost world. You can listen to his audio HERE . It's a balance we sisters have to find, each for ourselves, in how we can turn that sorrow into a strength that presses us on.  It was just last week when I had an overwhelming surge of sorrow while we were out in the midst of a group of professed believers (anabaptists) who were laughing and mocking at the truth of God.  As they surrounded us and we were walking back to our van, I turned the camera full circle around me and when I looked at each of them, I almost broke down in tears, but prayed that the Lord will uphold my composure in front of them all, and He did, of course.   Luke 17:27  They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. The destruction is coming and the world is doing what it
