Sharing The Gospel
Greetings sisters in Christ!
I pray you are overcoming your weaknesses by the strength of the Lord.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. [8] Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God 2 Timothey 1:7-8
This is to give a shout of praise to those sisters who have the love of God in them and want to share the good news with their neighbors (anyone they come across.) We travel all over the country and rarely do we see anyone sharing the (true) good news. Yes, we've encountered unbiblical people doing so and we've tried to correct them but even with those that are claiming the truth, (being called out and separate from the world, seeing through man made religion etc) are rare to see, if at all, sharing the truth. Here's a picture of a woman we met at the Super Bowl in Miami last winter.
Her sign is not quite biblical and she's not either but I'll be honest with you sisters, I kinda admired her zeal. She had nobody else around her (that we saw) and she walked up and down among the thousands upon thousands of people there. We were able to catch up to her and give her a gospel card but her English was terrible so we didn't converse very long. We pray she goes deeper in the truth and repents of any man made association or deceptions that may be leading her astray. I'm not promoting unbiblical women nor do I recommend women do such things alone, my point is to challenge true sisters to stand up and not fear man by giving out the biblical gospel.
Yes, women are to proclaim the gospel, being ready to give an answer to the hope that lies within us as we see in 1 Peter 3:15. Throughout this blog I've encouraged women to be ready to share this precious news (read a post HERE), be prepared for God to use you and look for opportunities. Praises to those of you who take this seriously and love your neighbor enough to let them know the danger ahead of them and the hope that they could have! The power of the gospel is a transformed life. (Read a post HERE)
I've posted our gospel cards before but here is what we use.
They are the size of a business card so you can't get much on them, that's why we have our website for the entirety of it, (and many more teaching) should anyone decide to seek more.
I was given that transformed life, were you? Are you sharing that good news with your neighbors that you are supposed to love? "How can you be born again and not want to share Jesus Christ with others? " Praises to those who are and encouragement to those who are not. The days are evil and the Lord is the only hope for a lost and dying world. Be sure that before you do, you are transformed by the gospel yourself, born again and living in holiness and obedience.
March on sisters in Christ, and know that I stand with you:-)
Love in Christ,
Sister Deb
