Birds, Beautiful Creation and Being Where We Should Be

Image
Blessings sisters in Christ! I thank the Lord for each and every one of you as well as our brothers, all scattered around where the Lord has placed us, shining our lights to His glory.  Let us not grow weary, amen! Today I have some videos and such to share with you and no particular theme.  Just beauty in God's creation, witnessing stories and what's going on. Here's an encouragement video for you. But enough about us, let's see some of God's creation that we were blessed to be able to partake of.  While we were scouting out a downtown area... ...we saw a park across the way, on a bay of the ocean, so we stopped to take a walk.    We saw these pelicans diving for their meal... And a beautiful white bird hunting for his food... Check out this awesome looking tree... And these palm trees... It was a chilly, windy, refreshing walk and a nice break from the busy city.  I have a lot more to share of God's creation from another day but will save it for when we have b

Sink Holes and Sin

Blessings and peace to all my obedient sisters in Christ! We found a park just across from our parking spot and decided to take a walk there and then work online in the shade, under the trees. I made a video to share some of the beauty we saw and although it's somewhat blurry by the time it gets compressed enough to get into blogger, you can still see.  We went down this walkway... And saw this... Apparently it's a sink hole, which is pretty common here in this state that sticks out into the ocean like an upside down thumb.  It made me think about us sisters and how, if we hide any little sins and try to cover them up, they will be there to fall right back in.  We must forsake all sins, not hide them,  that means put them away and not turn back to them.  We know of people who had a pile of things to forsake and instead of disposing of them or burning them like we see in Acts. They held on to them, making excuses and procrastinated and it wasn't long when they came upon some

Greetings sisters! Today is another day to serve the Lord, let us sing praises unto Him for the precious gift set before those who are His.   For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. [2] For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: [3] If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. [4] For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. [5] Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. [6] Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: [7] (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) [8] We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with

Breakfast and a Fixer

Good day to our sisters in Christ, Praise be to God the Father, maker of all things! I pray you are strong and keeping your eyes on Christ. When we visit our grandchildren they always ask to go see our van. They are fascinated that someone can live like we do, and of course we share with them why we do it...for the preaching of the gospel. While we were in there, our youngest grandson pointed up and said... It's the jack that raises the roof that Jim built.  He's 5 yrs old and already has his mind on fixing things:-) Too cute:-) Matthew 18:3  And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Speaking of the vanlife, since we live off grid and don't have a refrigerator, we use a cooler to keep things cold. In Wisconsin and Minnesota there's a convenience / gas station chain that gives away complimentary ice and they have really good coupon deals in their app. We got all this for .85 cent

Greetings to our faithful sisters! How are you today? Have you been redeeming the time?  We will give an account for all that we've been given (see the parable of talents) and that includes our time.  Amen? We spent some of our time the other day, trying to figure out technology issues and I had to repent of some sins in that.  At the time, we were parked in a nice park by a lake. I needed a walk so I followed the trail down to and over the bridge to the other side.  It was peaceful.... ...And calming; God's creation in the midst of this troubled world.  I used to hate being here on this earth, dealing with it all as a new babe in Christ, so many years ago.  Today, I want to go home to be with the Father but He has tempered that with a longing to do His work here for my time, and encourage you sisters to do the same. Just as His creatures do what He created them for, so I want to do the same.   And glorify Him. Father,

Greetings sisters! How is you day going today?  We are rejoicing as our travels have been uneventful and safe.  We don't take that for granted! We drove through to our destination and thought you might enjoy this video:-) This next one is better:-) As we got to this town we are in, a woman chased me down in the store parking lot to ask about our signs on the van.  She told me she was getting messages from reading the Bible and that we all need to go back and change the world by becoming who we are supposed to be, something like that.  I told her that is not of God and walked her through the gospel.  She insisted that she's being enlightened and we all have to do our best to change the world.  I told her that Jesus is coming back to destroy it all (2 Thessalations 1:8)  and bring a new heaven and earth and we must be in Him or we will be lost.  We talked for several minutes, she took the gospel card and thanked me, although I'm not sure she meant it as she kept pushing for t
