Encouragement for Christian Sisters

Good morning sisters in Christ! I pray your day will be joyous in the Lord, standing strong and bold in the Word. Today we had no rain (it's been raining off and on a lot lately) and we enjoyed the day while doing errands so I thought I'd take some pictures to share with you. There are a lot of farms here and  we enjoy the opportunity to drive by them.   It's refreshing to us to be back in the  midwest  where life is a bit slower.... ...and people are not in as much of a hurry  as the big cities we were in this past winter. And God's creation does what it was ordained to do. Simplicity in the midst of a troubled world. The ending of our day started out beautiful... And got even better... It was a very welcome break from what we've been through the past few months and we are looking forward to some time without rain to get working on the van.  (Spring weather is rainy:-) 

Greetings sisters, Brother Jim wrote a post about the corona virus and I thought I'd share it here as an encouragement. I hope it blesses you:-) ********************************************** March 19 2020  I thought I would do a update on the global situation regarding the corona virus: *the world is still in a panic *many are still getting sick  *some are dying (sadly) *more lock downs are coming / promised *you cant eat out in a restaurant *movies and sports are all closed   ( yea!!! )  * the economy and businesses are crumbling *the stock market is falling *schools are cancelled  *grocery stores are getting low on many supplies *people are buying guns/ammo and toilet paper like crazy *it may remain this way for a long time But remember.... *the sun is still coming up each morning *the birds are singing *life is still worth living *Jesus is still the ONLY way to eternal life  *Christ is coming back and.... My God is still on the throne!!!!!!

Today I share with you a very quick video we made today (Married and in the Word) about refreshing yourself.    In it I mention about the birds singing.  I've been calmed by the singing birds when we've been out witnessing in hectic situations or when I've had some rough things to deal with and just hearing God's creation continue to do what He's ordained them to to is so calming and refreshing to me.  I want to be like those birds, or frogs, or crickets....just doing what my Father said to do, not being bothered by what's going on around me.  Praise God, He has the power to sustain us.   I hope your day was joyous in the Lord and I leave you with another picture of God's creation. Greetings sisters, I pray you are standing strong in this crazy world and are not getting swept away in the frenzy like the lost.  We must be a solid shining light to those people who are putting their comfort and hope in things of this world.  Maybe our example could be a turning point for someone watching. We are taking a short time of refreshing in the Lord and to get some things done on the van.  I just told brother Jim that I almost feel selfish because I'm actually enjoying a bit of time out away from the world and it seems to be refreshing our spirits even in this time of worldly troubles.  Who knows where all this will go and what strings are being pulled in the background to help usher in what needs to be done for the end times and tribulation but all I know is that we have one day and we should use it wisely.  If we get tomorrow, we shall rejoice and use it for the glory of God....day after day until He brings us home.  That's endurance, enduring through whate

Good evening sisters in Christ, Praise God for this glorious day.  Ours was a cold and rainy one as I began this post but we rejoice none the less because we are one day closer to going home to be with our Lord and Master! Tonight I have a simple post for you about the blessings of cheese and bread.  For some reason I have been finding awesome deals on cheese that I can't pass up!  One night brother Jim was busy in the van so I went in the store to see what they had for bargains. I found these for .75 cents each.   I bought 2 and brought them back out to the van to see if brother Jim would like them and if we wanted more. (I like a strong cheese.)   He did, and walked back in the buy the rest.  A couple nights later I found this discounted cheese for $1.25 lb, another awesome deal.  (Brother Jim really likes that kind.) Greetings sisters in Christ, I pray you are standing strong against the wiles of the devil who is out to try to destroy all of mankind.  The world is in the process of another step toward the end times and the anti-christ rising.  It's clear to see the power play behind such things and we as born again followers of Christ need to be a strong witness for those around us, not joining in with them and their fears.  The sad thing is, their fears are about self preservation, not what's coming in eternity.  Let us shine our light for them to see and show them the way. During this.....um....? pandemic ? there seems to be a lot of panic and fear.  We as believers need to see the scriptures for what our Savior said it would be and know the end times are coming.  Satan thinks he's in control (has has much control allowed to him from God) but we know our Father is ultimately in control and if we endure through this life, to the end, in a saving faith, obediently following our Savior, we will be set free from this life and enter into eternal life in heaven.   I wanted to share brother Jim's encouragement  in light of what satan is doing in the world today, by causing this mass panic and world wide....whatever.  Feel free to listen to it with your husband.
