Encouragement for Christian Sisters

 Good evening sister saints! I love that don't you?  Let's look at more of the passage. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.  Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.  For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.  But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.  For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,   Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.  Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.   1 Thessalonians 5:5-11  "We should live together with Him", I love that and it's so comforting isn't it?  When this world gets more wicked we can remember all these promises from our Father. Greetings to my striving sister saints! Praise God for the Holy Spirit... Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.   John 16:13  And that we each are partakers of if we are born from above (John 3:3 born again).  We can't have the Holy Spirit if we have not repented or are not continuing to repent of any sins that come up in our life.  Praise God through His power we can endure through this life in the genuine saving faith in obedience all the way until the end.  This morning brother James cut off the dry rot parts of the wood that we salvaged from the spools yesterday. We gathered all the cedar bark I peeled and stored it away as it's great to start fires.  A full wood bin again. Those pieces burn so good, great for flaring up the fire for cooking, which I did today. I cooked up a batch of noodles and a small pot of

  Good day sister saints who love the Lord and the brethren! What a glorious day we are having here in the low 70's and breezy with lots of sunshine and it's midway through December.  We're so thankful because we are getting a lot done, praise God.   I did some washing this morning of brother James work tunic.   And I show you how I modified / lengthened a skirt. More Titus 2 works going on in the van kitchen, making my soup. We had an issue with the van door not working so brother James fixed it. And we took care of a load of wood.  🪵🪓 I save all the bits and pieces because it makes for great kindling to start fires.  I have several barrels full all ready and waiting. We did more work on the second cabin... I peeled another log that will go outside the front door on the porch.   Good evening sister saints!!   Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.   Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.  Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.  James 4:8-10 Isn't it awesome it tells us how to draw nigh unto God. If we humble ourselves He will lift us up!   For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:  (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)  Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.  And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.  Good evening sister saints:-) I hope your day is going well and you are ready for some rest, or if you are getting your day going that you are equipped with your Ephesians 6 armor and ready for whatever it entails.   Today I want to share on something brother James said to some brothers and I'm going to use the same concept for us sisters.  I'm sure you would agree that we try to keep useful tools in our kitchens and if something isn't useful we eventually discard it (give it away)  after we've given it a time to see if it might become useful to us.  On the other hand we always reach for what does the job and can be counted on to do so.   For instance: I have several knives but yet there are a few that stay sharp for a very long time and I'm sure you would, just as I, always go for those knives when I need to cut something.  Why would we struggle along with a dull knife when we have some that are super sharp?  Then when we can, we sharpen the other ones to bring th

Greetings sister saints all over the world!
