Encouragement for Christian Sisters

Greetings sisters in Christ, We were out sharing the gospel on the streets today in a popular tourist town.  It's very fleshly with water parks and amusement parks along one strip and then the downtown area where we were as people walked by from shop to shop buying trinkets and foods.  Normally the sidewalks are packed with people but because of the late opening of the town, there were less, but still plenty of people walking by and tons stopped by the intersections with their windows down. At one point a family walked by and I heard a little boy say ' God bless you ' to brother Jim and as I turned to look  (maybe 3 or 4 yrs old) he was walking over by me saying ' God bless you '.  I watched him walk down the sidewalk with his family and it made me so sad to see him (and that little girl and all the other children) being led away into the world.  I'm thankful to have grown much stro...

Greetings sisters in Christ! The other day we took some time to catch up online ministry and had a beautiful spot to do so. We have been blessed to spend time with some of our grandchildren (6 of them from 2 households) and thought I'd share a bit about it and maybe bring some smiles to you.  Their parents are not born again believers but some allow us to speak truth into the grandchildren's lives of which we are thankful. We took a walk with a couple of the girls and here you can listen to an audio of part of the conversation where we talked about God and His creation. I brought some sewing supplies to teach them how to sew and I was surprised at how fast they caught on! We made some simple purse bags: I brought some flowers so they could learn to plant flowers and take care of them. Then we strung some beads to add a bit of decor to the pots. And we played a simple game of trying to toss the bag...

Greetings to our sisters in Christ! What an awesome day we have and we rejoice to be able to share some of it with you, witness as we travel and praise our Father for it all. Today I thought I'd share a bit about van life. This picture from brother Jim sums it up pretty well. It requires a lot of patience in the beginning and just as our faith requires it....endurance.  We must endure in the patience as we live this life because our space is tiny and there's two of us.  It is amazing how quickly we adapted to it, all to the glory of our Father because He did something to our (willing) hearts to mold us for this.  He can do that in all aspects of our life if we allow Him, the problem lies where we either don't allow it or forget to turn to Him. I'm guilty of that.  Getting swept up in doing the work of God and forgetting that although I am a worker with brother Jim, my first line of connection is with the Father and nothing should come in between, lest it...

Greetings sisters in Christ! What a glorious Father we have to not strike us dead for our transgressions and His mercies are new every morning.  Let us rejoice in this and obey Him in love. In our traveling preaching life we don't have concrete plans because we want to allow the Lord to lead and not be so set that we miss any opportunities for witnessing. There may be times we are heading someplace and we have a joyful encounter with someone seeking truth and then we have to be flexible and make alternative plans on where to go.  My keeper of the home job is to always know ahead where we can park overnight or at least have some ideas.  I usually plan for a large radius around our proposed destination in case something comes up (praise God like witnessing).  I'm excited to say that we do have one destination that we are planning on going in a couple weeks with a potential date in mind, a place we've been to very often and we absolutely love it there.   ...

Greetings sisters in Christ! I pray this day you are standing strong in the Lord, overcoming all that satan throws at you with your Ephesians 6 armor. Our Father is one of victory, and we can be victorious in Him if we worship in Spirit and Truth (John 4:24).  Praise God as He is the author and finisher of our faith. (Hebrews 12:2) We have been very busy in the Lord and we pray it will continues, praise God!  We do our best to encourage the saints daily on our blogs, sharing what the Lord is doing in our lives, what we learn and sometimes simple scenery that bring Him glory.  We are nothing without Him but we love our brethren so we do what we can with this technology that we have, until it is no longer available.  We are all scattered and will most likely not be together while on this earth, long distance relationships only go so far, but if we endure in the faith, until the end, we will all be together with our Heavenly Father for all of eternity.
