Encouragement for Christian Sisters

Greetings sisters in Christ! God's Word says we reap what we sow in Galatians 6 so today I'm going to encourage you to pray for the brethren because when we pour ourselves out, God fills us back up.  I know when I'm struggling and beaten down by the world, if I pray for others or give of myself here on the blog to you sisters, I'm refreshed and strengthened.  I continuously pray that God give us the strength we need to overcome the trials in our lives, of which we know there are many.  Brother Jim and I have seen so many spiritual deaths that if we were to focus on them, we would be devastated and end up like Lot's wife turning to a pillar of salt.  We know what flavorless salt is worth don't we? Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned? It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. I want to share a witnessing experience I just had night.  I was walking through the store and a woman worker was putting away some cast iron pans and as I came closer she said she liked my ____?___ and pointed to my head. (She spoke English but I had to struggle to understand her but we made it through the conversation, praise God.)  I told her that it was a headcovering and that I'm a Christian, a follower of Jesus Christ and gave her a gospel card. She eagerly grabbed it and said " What is this? "  I explained that it was a gospel card, the good news of of Jesus Christ and how to gain eternal life.  She was excited, tucked it into her pocket and said ' I am Mormon, we both believe in Jesus. "  I replied no, the Mormons do not follow the biblical Jesus, they follow a man made system that came along many years after Christ.  I also explained that none of the man made religious systems are from God and listed many of them suc

Good afternoon sisters in Christ! This post is just a quick one to share one way I save money as a keeper of the home.  Some of you may already know about cash back savings but for those that don't, let me explain. There are websites and phone apps that offer cash back on purchases so when you buy something that qualifies, through  their website or app, you will receive money back to you in an account.  (Sort of like electronic coupons.) Once your account reaches a certain amount, you can cash it out into your bank, paypal etc. Let me give you an example of how this works through a phone app. I found 2 of these boxes of Atkins bars discounted to $1.00 each.  We don't buy such things unless I find deals like this. I purchased them for a total of $2.00 and when I got back to our van I took care of the receipt by opening the app, snapping a picture of the receipt and marking the quantity I purchased then uploading it through the app.  Within a half hour I had $3 in

Greetings sisters in Christ! Praises to you sisters who are actively killing your feminist flesh and are striving to be obedient daughters of the most High. The other day while we were out at an event with our gospel signs and brother Jim preaching, women would walk by and boldly mock. (Men would also but I'm focusing on the women here.)  At one point a woman was walking by with her husband making the ' yak, yak, yak ' hand motion like this: Seconds later she stumbled (did not fall) over the leg of a street barricade and then the next one.  Brother Jim said that people reap what they sow and to let that be a lesson to her not to mock the things of God.  Not long after that, another woman stepped up to brother Jim while he was preaching and wanted to talk, so he gave her a gospel card and asked if she had a husband.  She said yes, pointed to a man behind brother Jim and demanded that he answer why she couldn't talk without her husband. We are praising God for another day of safe travels and are close to our witnessing destination.  We have strengthened and restored ourselves for another round of spiritual battle.   A wicked man hardeneth his face: but as for the upright, he directeth his way.  There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the  Lord . The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the  Lord . Proverbs 21:29-31 We ALL need to make sure we are equipped for the spiritual battle by keeping on our armor. (Ephesians 6)  Satan comes at us everywhere, not just out in the world, as you surely know! Suit up sisters and be ready!
