Encouragement from Psalm 50

Image
Greetings sisters in Christ! Today I want to encourage you with Psalm 50. I leave you with this pretty picture from up in Kallispell, Mt from when we were there 2 years ago. We had some incredible witnessing opportunities up there and I pray those people have repented and gone into God's Word. Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. Acts 3:19 Have a peaceful and joyous day unto the Lord. Love in Christ, Sister Deb The biblical gospel... https://www.dontperish.com/the-gospel.html

Let's Not Become an Accident

Image
Greetings sisters in Christ! We were driving down the road and came upon the left overs of an accident. One minute those people were just fine, going wherever they were headed and the next second their world changed.  Thankfully nobody was seriously hurt that we know of, the scene was cleaned up and life went on.  (Apparently there are a lot of accidents on this corner because of a blind hill.) Brother Jim always gives thanks after every trip because we should never take it for granted. With all the miles we drive we see a lot of accidents, or the after effects from them, and I always hope that there were no deaths.  (We saw this in Wyoming in I-80  where they have a lot of accidents.) Life can change in an instant, are you ready?  Jesus said to watch and pray: Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Matthew 26:41 If we are watching then we are aware but the time we stop is when we are blindsided just li

Homestead Break

Image
Greetings sisters in Christ! In the last post (click HERE to read it) I shared how we are doing some changes on the van and said I'd let you know where we are.   Well...as we were leaving the southeastern states, we were planning on coming back to Missouri to sell our homestead but just as we got here, the panic of Corona started.  After some discussion, brother Jim decided that we will hold on to the property for the time being it costs us virtually nothing ($20 / month taxes) to maintain yet we would still be out on the road preaching the gospel.  (The goal is to use our homestead for a sanctuary for us and potentially other believers.  It seems wise to do so in these times.) So for a short while we will be here getting projects done and preparing to hit the road again. In case you haven't seen my previous posts about this place, we bought a raw piece of land in Missouri, cut down trees and cleared the land by hand... ...pulled on an old camper.

Van Projects

Image
Greetings sisters! Have you been busy lately?  We have, the past many days and have a lot more in front of us.  Recently we went to get some supplies for a couple van projects... It's amazing how fast a little box of hardware adds up in price! Brother Jim had an interesting time  picking out lumber  because  most of what he  was  looking for  was warped so  it took a little while to find straight ones. He eventually found enough :-) This is what the back of the van currently looks like.  He removed the generator and accessories so he could build a new enclosure.  He's also planning a new storage space on top. I'm excited to see what it will look like when it's done. We are looking forward to getting these projects done and moving on again, Lord willing. What a peaceful drive through the countryside.  A fire is a rare treat for us!  In the next post (click HERE to read it)  I will

But I am Slow of Speech and Slow of Tongue

Image
Good afternoon sisters in Christ! If you've been following the blog you'll see that I've just confessed that I want to start doing more audios and then shared this verse: And Moses said unto the  Lord , O my  Lord , I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue. And the  Lord  said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the  Lord ? Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say. Exodus 4:10-12 For most of my life I was a very quiet person up until I entered the corporate world and became something that I wasn't.  I then had the speech, the attitude to go with it and the boldness to do it.  Yet when I became a new creation in Christ, I struggled to properly find the way to fit myself into the role of a godly woman by balancing a shamefaced, meek and quiet spirit yet

A Sisters Voice

Image
Hello sisters in Christ! It's been a long while since I've done any sort of audio or video for you but it's been on my heart to get back to doing them, so here you go.  I have to work at killing my flesh in that it used to take me a lot of preparation and notes, many tries, deletes and redo's just to do one, but from now on I'm going to just wing it and go.  I was encouraged by this: And Moses said unto the  Lord , O my  Lord , I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue. And the  Lord  said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the  Lord ? Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say. Exodus 4:10-12 The Lord knows my heart and my desire to encourage you all so I trust that I will do just that, with His help. Have a joyous day and blessings to you a
