Ye Are My Friend...IF

Image
Greetings sisters in Christ! I love this verse as it sums up those who are in Christ.  He loves those who are His and we are His friends if we are obedient. We continuously hear people defending sin.  I recently dealt with a few women on the street defending sin after sin after sin, claiming God is all love and grace.  That's a lie.  He's not ALL  (only) love and grace, read psalm 11:5 The  Lord  trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. We clearly see He hates the people who are wicked and love violence.  A wicked sister is one who harbors sin, won't repent of it, makes excuses for it.  Just like we see every single day, people harboring their sins, practicing their sin, making excuses for their sin, claiming to be weak and that God still loves them.  No, until you repent and are His, you are wicked...take it for what it's worth.  I share this because we can be the opposite of that by being obedient to our Lord and

$1.58 Keeper at Home Harvest

Image
Greetings sisters in Christ! Praise the Lord we have had a chance to reorganize some things in the van (which needs to be done on a regular basis when living tiny) and catch up on some ministry projects.  I don't do much for keeper at home posts because I'm not on a homestead or even in a house so I have less of those chores to do but if I suppose if I thought hard enough I could come up with some posts for tiny house living...such as tools or gadgets I use:-) Being on the road doesn't allow me to have a garden like some of you are blessed with so I love hearing how your gardens are doing and how you take care of the bounty, good job sisters!  The way I harvest is from wise shopping, my phone apps (you can see that post HERE ) and surveys.  I'm always amazed at how our Father provides for us in so many different ways, one of which is low cost groceries. Brother Jim said that he was really hungry for a cheeseburger (those are super rare for us) so when I wen

God Has a Future For You

Image
Greetings sisters in Christ! I pray you are striving on in this day and not growing weary or faint as He is our strength no matter what the situation and He can help us overcome all.  About a year and a half ago brother Jim used to tell a brother (who was in the midst of many tribulations in his life) that God has a future for him.  Today, through much effort and trust in the Lord, he is not only  the owner of a piece of land in a state far away from where he used to be, he's out on the streets preaching the gospel.  He shared these pictures with us so I put scriptures to them to rejoice with him and give God glory. God does have a future for us...those who are His will have eternal life with Him if we endure.  He may also have a future on this earth  for us, one that we never thought of.  Don't get overly wrapped up in today sisters, tomorrow might be something totally different.   Have a joyous evening. Love in Christ, Sister Deb The biblical g

Leaving a Wicked City and Going into the Mountains

Greetings sisters in Christ! We pray you all stand strong on the Word and don't compromise, sharpen your swords as the days are evil.  We saw a lot of evil while in a wicked tourist town that we've been to before, and it's gotten worse. I was thinking that it is much like Sodom and Gomorrah that God destroyed... Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.   And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good. Ezekial 16:49-50 We have been in many towns around the country and there are some that are definitely more wicked than others, this is one of them. It is not only filled with sexual immorality (including the virtual nakedness of most of the people) but there is much pride (which we know God hates), fullness of bread (they are rich and wealthy fulfilling every fle

Real or Facade?

Greetings sisters in Christ!  I pray you all have your armor on today?  Ephesians 6 is good for us to remember every morning when we get up, lest we forget and be taken down by the enemy. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:    Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 1 Peter 5:8-9 I took these pictures a long while back and just found them in my file.  See the first one: That red trim along the top looks like part of the roof but.... ...It's not.  It's a facade, fake, not real.  It's just something that looks nice up there, like something that it really isn't. We see that all the time in ministry :-(  People who claim the name of Christ, claim to love the brethren, claim to want to walk in holiness and obedience but sadly that's all a facade because when they are he

Modesty Apron and Tiered Skirt (Custom Sewn Clothing)

Image
Greetings sisters! How was your day today?  We have been very busy, praise God the word is going out!  Today was something else out on the streets....VERY wicked people, maybe I'll share tomorrow or something but today I'm tired of thinking about this dark world.  I thought tonight I'd share something nice:-) There is a sister in the Lord who has been blessed with a tremendous skill of sewing and does excellent work. She worked diligently with me to design a custom apron pattern so I can wear them out on the streets witnessing and have full coverage when the wind is blowing.   She created her own patterns from a sketch and ideas I sent and after a bit of discussion she came up with exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something with pleats at the top, long, almost to my knees and flared outward and she took care of it all.  I also ordered a custom sewn skirt. She is a single sister with an online sewing shop.  She just recently started a brand new shop

Wondrous Works of our Father in Heaven...God's Creation

Image
Greetings sisters! I've saved up some videos of the awesome creation of our Father,  I thought you might appreciate them and give Him glory. Praise God, the maker of the heavens and the earth! We made it to our next destination and plan to be witnessing on the streets tomorrow, Lord willing.  Once again God's timing is perfect, we pulled in and a couple minutes later a man walked up to talk to brother Jim about spiritual matters.  Beware of signs and wonders sisters, we see it all over with people claiming Jesus is speaking to or visiting them  and all sorts of strange happenings.   (This man had these such things and brother Jim tried to lovingly help him out of it.)  Here's a teaching brother Jim did on signs and wonders. http://spiritandtruthdiscernment.blogspot.com/2020/01/miracles-and-signs-or-word.html There's so much deception that people would be protected from if they simply yielded to God'

Even If I Can't Stand Up

Greetings sisters!  We have left the busy tourist town and are now working our way to another one, taking a day or two in between to catch up online ministry and refresh ourselves before more battles. I'm going to share a victory with you, glory to God, not me....I have been having some troubling physical trials lately which are slow to subside but through the power of God I was able to push through out on the streets, shining the light of Christ.  A thank you to a brother in the Lord who recently said that he  enjoys suffering through the flesh for Christ, as it greatly encouraged me.   And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.   Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

Self Reflection and Correction

Image
Greetings sisters in Christ! I pray you are all doing well. We are parked for the night after travelling toward our next destination and we praise God for a place to lay our head and once again He gives us a beautiful sunset. In our ministry online and in the world, my role as helper to my husband, keeper at home, the various responsibilities that go along with this life and dealing with troublesome flesh can build up to where I need to slow down and examine some areas and make sure my focus is correct and my role is in line. After self reflection, I see some areas that need correction.   Let none of us think, even after walking this path for years, that you can't slip here or there and find the need for readjustment and some changes.  (That's why continuously examine ourselves.)  If we truly have a heart for God, He will guide us and lead us, not allowing us to go too far without conviction or something weighing us down until we search diligently for it:-) He is a

Become as Little Children

Greetings sisters in Christ! I pray you are all well and shining your light of Christ to those around you! The Lord has been opening opportunities for good street witnessing of which you need 3 things.   1. Parking 2. People 3. Public Access We find that the smaller towns have those more readily available (sometimes) than the bigger cities.  I just was sharing with brother Jim how it seems that we are smaller in the big cities but bigger in the smaller towns.  Meaning that we stand out much more in the smaller, slower paced towns and people can slow down to see what's going on. Today we were out and not more than 10 minutes a young couple walked up to talk.  They said they saw us when we were in a tourist town not far away...It was great to be see truthful words sinking into them. Later on a young girl was standing across the street listening to brother Jim preach... She was not recognizable in the picture but I blocked her out anyway for privacy.  She stood ther
