A Day in the Life (Dec 23, 2021)

Greetings to our holy sisters! Praise the Lord for all he has done and what He has set before us.  But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.  Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.   Romans 6:17-18  We've been set free to serve Him, no longer in the bondage of sin and serving satan.    Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.   And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.  If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.   John 8:34-36  Brother James and I have been pondering and discussing our ministry for the next season and because we are free to serve Christ in many different ways, we may use that freedom to do some things a bit differently.  Lord willing, we shall see what lies ahead if He gives us those days.  We are just two saints who love t

Potatoes and Praise

Greetings sister Saints! Once again, let us praise our heavenly Father for another day that we have been set free to serve Him and not the evil one who is roaming the earth looking for those he can devour.   More projects have been complete and maybe tomorrow a tour of the second guest cabin after we're doing painting the old rv that brother James turned into storage.   Lots of clothes washing, food cooking, van organizing and such went on for Titus 2 works today.  I'm thankful to be a godly woman and able to do all that is set before me. I was thinking about what to share today (yes that can be a task in itself :-) when 'potatoes' came to mind.  Ever since I've drastically changed my diet (which has helped me tremendously), I've been eating a lot of potatoes and it makes me think of a family.  They had many children and very little money but were joyous in the Lord, giving Him praise for all things.  One of the best crops that seemed to grow for them, in great

Toilets and Truth

Greetings and a holy hug to my striving sister saints!!! I know you're probably wondering about the title but there's a reason for it and brother James gave me the suggestion.  We were out in a couple towns doing errands and many GOSPEL cards were given out along the way.  As we were coming out of a store we were walking through the parking lot and a woman was trying to load a super big box into the back of her car.  Brother James offered help and she said she can get it but brother James said he's happy to help.  She said 'I never knew toilets could be so heavy!' (That's what was in the box.)  And after she thanked us I gave her a gospel card and she was very thankful. Makes me think about how most people just toss the precious word of God out, just like they flush a toilet, but those who are of God, cherish it and are thankful, keeping it safe. Reminds me of this verse. And Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the gr

Greetings to my striving sister saints :-) It's another day the Lord has given us to serve Him. We are thankful to be saints of God, called out and separate from the world, washed clean by the blood of the lamb, serving Him in our daily lives with joy!  He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. [26] If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.  John 12:25-26  That part, "he that hateth his life in this world" ...that was me, I HATED my life before Christ!!!   Thank you sister for the scripture pictures>-)  Amen, we love Him because He first loved us, dying as the sacrifice for our sins and making the way for those who will repent and follow after Him! Yes, we sisters have all seen the hatred from the world, those who claim Christ but are living disobedient lives.  But we continue to shine our light and be re

Good evening sister saints! I'm always joyous to be able to come here and do a post because I love my sisters :-). Just simple encouragement from a sister saint striving in the Lord trying to press others on. He is such an awesome and loving father, how can we not want to live our lives for Him and encourage others to do so. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.   Hebrews 11:1  Lots going on here again today because our departure is coming to go preach the GOSPEL on the streets again, Lord willing we have those days coming, we shall see.   I did a lot of organizing the van and checking the stock of what we have in it and then lots of Titus 2 works... More soup making going on from the stock I made on the woodstove yesterday. I tried my new spiralizer I found at the thrift store the other day and it does 'okay' for most things.  (Great for zucchini.)  But it doesn't stand a chance next to my other one. So we'll bring this o
