A Day in the Life (Nov 30,2021) (about care)

Image
Greetings sister saints who love the Lord! Praise God for this day and to be able to serve Him in it, rather than serving the evil one like we used to. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?   Romans 6:16  I'm so thankful to be a child of God who is a Father that takes care of His children. I was just sharing with some sisters about a time (many years ago) when God looked after me in a time of physical and mental weakness after a surgery and protected me from some relatives that were bent on destruction of my soul.  He's a caring Father. Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1 Peter 5:7  And he protected me from this... Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:  1 Peter 5:8  But our Father had it already planned out and He protecte...

The Sharpest Knife

Image
Good evening sister saints:-) I hope your day is going well and you are ready for some rest, or if you are getting your day going that you are equipped with your Ephesians 6 armor and ready for whatever it entails.   Today I want to share on something brother James said to some brothers and I'm going to use the same concept for us sisters.  I'm sure you would agree that we try to keep useful tools in our kitchens and if something isn't useful we eventually discard it (give it away)  after we've given it a time to see if it might become useful to us.  On the other hand we always reach for what does the job and can be counted on to do so.   For instance: I have several knives but yet there are a few that stay sharp for a very long time and I'm sure you would, just as I, always go for those knives when I need to cut something.  Why would we struggle along with a dull knife when we have some that are super sharp?  Then when we can, we sharp...

A Quick Story and Giving God Glory

Image
Good evening sister saints:-) I'm thankful for this day that the Lord has made.  I was walking back and forth between the house and the cabin today fetching things and made a video and told you a quick story: And let us give God glory for His creation: O Lord God, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might? Deuteronomy 3:24  For the Lord your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward: Deuteronomy 10:17  Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord; Selah:  To him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; lo, he doth send out his voice, and that a mighty voice.  Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds.  O God, thou art terrible out of thy h...

Witnessing in the Woods

Image
Greetings sister saints!!! But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.  1 Peter 3:15  ALWAYS!!! be ready sisters!  And I have a story to share about it! I was in the utility cabin working on sewing a snap in my purse... And then I stopped to make an audio for some sisters. I had just started on it when I heard a woman's voice saying " Hello? Hello ?" I looked out the window and a woman was standing on our porch and let me explain the scenario for you. We only know a couple people that live here, most are part timers who have vacation houses and are rarely here, we are down a long gravel road and there's no reason for anyone to come here really so it took me by surprise.   I went out to talk to her and found out she works for an insurance company and was at the wrong address. I told her I didn't know the address she was looking for bu...

Giving God Glory in Gatherings

Image
Greetings sister saints! God had giving us another day, let us redeem it for Him!  I made another audio that goes along with the ones I've been doing lately on Titus 2 duties and conscience issues around the worldly holidays and such.  This one is about giving God glory in gatherings and talks about a sisters day she had and how she gave glory to God in it.  Its the last one below in the string of video links.  Before you listen to it you might want to listen to the other ones so that you get the entire picture and it doesn't cause any confusion. The first one is HERE .  (Titus 2 Responsibilities Concerning Worldly Holidays and Festivals)  The second one is HERE .  (Liberty Around Loved Ones) The third one is HERE . (A Sisters Conscience Question on Thanksgiving) **The fourth and last one (I did today) is   HERE   (Giving God Glory in Gatherings.)** By sharing our experiences, questions, trials and triumphs we can encourage one ano...

An Awesome God (1 Kings 18)

Image
Good evening sister saints! I wanted to share some scriptures to encourage and strengthen us all so I made an audio and in it, read a passage from the Old Testament that is pretty amazing. You can find that HERE .   We can't even imagine what that fire looked like when it shot down from heaven and burned it all up and I love how it says the fire licked up the water that was in the trench! Hopefully that encouraged you sisters as much as it did for me reading it:-)  What a powerful God, one to be greatly feared!   O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.  For the Lord most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.  He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.   He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.  God is gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.  Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing pr...

I Haven't Forgotten

Image
Greetings sister saints!!! I was going through some old posts and found some pictures that I wanted to share with you.   Praise God for His awesome creation and the astounding beauty that man can't even come close to duplicating.  And if he did it would be with what has already been created by a mighty God. As I was paging through these pictures, being thankful to the Lord for allowing us to experience it all.... I thought about how I can remember where each place is and what was going on at that time and the witnessing that we had opportunities to glorify God and share the gospel. And it made me think of those who we knew and loved that had come out of man made religion, left much of the world's ways (seeking to learn and leave the rest), addressed biblical holiness in their dress etc. and were seemingly walking on the narrow road... ...and then sin came in and caused destruction and division.  Sin that they couldn't forsake or a sin of the flesh like pride, or some...

A Sisters Conscience Question on Thanksgiving

Image
Good evening sister saints who love the Lord! We've had a lot of good discussions and topics going around lately and another one came up from a sister so I made an audio of it, you can find it HERE .   Maybe it will be a blessing to someone going through the same trials as this sister with conscience issues regarding her role in Thanksgiving.   I want to add this verse as brother James suggested it: And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to God in presence of them all: and when he had broken it, he began to eat.   Acts 27:35  Not quite the same context but he said thanks to God before them, just something to consider.  Anyway, I'm thankful to be of any sort of help to the sisters and am joyous that the glory of God will be upheld in the body of Christ by doing what is the most honoring to Him. Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.   1 Corinthians 10:31  Brothe...
